I recently stayed at this hotel and had mixed feelings about my experience. While there were a few positives, the negatives ultimately overshadowed them.
Pros:
The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Free parking is a nice perk. The location is convenient, especially for visiting Universal Theme Park.
Cons:
The lobby and elevator were overwhelmed with the smell of curry from the Indian restaurant on-site. While the restaurant seems popular, the smell can be overpowering for those not accustomed to it.
Many outside guests appeared to be using the hotel amenities, leading to an overcrowded and noisy lobby. The restaurant should be for guest only or have a separate entrance for locals. This made it feel more like a public space than a relaxing hotel environment.
My room was poorly cleaned; there was trash left behind, and the shower was dirty, which made me question the overall cleanliness of the hotel.
Parking was a major issue. Restaurant guests took up most of the spaces, leaving little room for hotel guests.
The rooftop music was excessively loud, and the parking lot became a hub for cars revving their engines and honking late into the night, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.
Overall, while the friendly staff and convenient location were appreciated issues made my stay less enjoyable than I had hoped. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay. Won’t be back.
