The good food was not worth the bedbugs
I delayed writing this review because I emailed the management, and filled out their survey requesting they reach out to me to discuss the issues instead of leaving a negative review. However, as I have not heard back from anyone, I decided to leave a review to let folks know what to expect.
The rooms are very poorly maintained, and we got bed bugs. There is no other way to state the condition of the building. Tiles were cracked, soap dispensers where falling off the wall, the bathroom door wouldn't latch closed - all in our first room. We did ask to switch, and our second room was in slightly better condition, however, I woke up covered in bug bites.
This hotel was the most convenient for our stay while visiting family, and did have several good points. The staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast set up was great. They serve several types of hot food, as well as prepackaged food. So much better than many other hotels I've been to. These positives were just massively outweighed by the general condition.
