The room has kitchen with microwave, utensils, fridge, coffee maker all you need to make your stay convenient. Surroundings well kept. Have a trail path for a good walk exploring the surrounding areas. We enjoyed using their Hot springs.

This was our first time visiting and we will return. The check in experience was annoying. When we got there around 1 pm were told our room wasn't ready and would call when it was- otherwise check in is at 4:00. Other customers were being checked in however. The actual check in was fine. I dis like the convenience of the wristband. We travel 3 weekends a month and this is the first time I have experienced this and would recommend all places use this technology. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a nice view of the back meadow. It was nice until the duck were being shot at by hunters. (Thanks for that 5 am wake up call.) on vacation, that is not how you want to be awaken. The restaurant left a lot to be desired and would not recommend that experience to anyone. Food was not great. No sauce dor the coconut shrimp, except tartar and cocktail - neither compliment coconut shrimp m. Service was slow. We were not at all attended to. No water refills and it was as if the waiter took our order and disappeared for over half an hour- we wondered if he also was cooking the food. There were only 4 parties in the restaurant and it took close to an hour for the food. We definitely won't eat there again. Service in the bar was fine as was the customer service in the marketplace. The springs were wonderful and the staff was great.

This property was a kind of Time share and did not have cleaning service to clean the room every day like other hotel, when I went to ask why the room cleaner did not clean the room and provide new clean towels, I was told cleaner would come once a week only, thereafter I requested a few towels, which were provided to us. Also, one coffee bag was provided while we stayed 4 nights. I think Hotel.com should let me know in the information sheet provided to me by email under confirmation email. Otherwise, Holiday Inn club was very nice, had professional receptionist and beautiful location. Fay Dean

I give it one star because of how the rooms are constructed. The walls themselves seem to be okay but the doors and the area around the doors are terrible. You can hear a mouse fart in the adjoining room. You can see sunlight coming through the cracks in the doors. I could hear both sides of a phone conversation. Our neighbors were not being loud. The building itself has three floors in an V-shaped pattern. Everybody must go to the point of the V in order to get to the elevator. So normal conversations are wildly Amplified as people approach the elevator or go to their rooms. There's no way to relax in a room constructed like this. These problems are fixable! Yet, nothing has been done in the years they've been established. So, I doubt they care.

We always enjoy coming there to enjoy the hot springs. We come several times a year, Sometimes twice in a month . But our room we checked into this time was disappointing and loud neighbors . there was hardly anyone at the hot springs that evening, but the person that checked us in said there was no other rooms we could get instead. Also Usually, there is a super friendly guy who is always hospitable working in the pools area. this time there was someone else , while we were in the larger pool out of all the other places there is is to sweep He had to sweep right by my head. I found it very rude. Other than that I always love the staff. They’re always so friendly, especially ladies at the pool check-in. We will definitely give them another try but it was just a bit disappointing this time

I’ve been here several times. Staff is always over the top. I will suggest a couple of places that can use adjustments. Two ladies at the reception desk. Spent a considerable Amount of time on the phone giving directions to the property. I would say there is a need to update the internet. Google maps, Siri etc there is no need to waste their time on the phone like this. 4:00 pm is check-in time and one ladies shift ended at 4:45. I was the fourth person who arrived. Two couples were being helped when I walked in. One man in front of me with a glass of wine in his hand (obviously not checking in), then me. 45 minutes later I’m being checked in. I understand the situation, however that situation shouldn’t have happened. The lady who left for day, rightly so didn’t notice that the gentleman in front of me just needed a key. So she closed and left. The lady who helped me was very gracious and worked as quickly as she could. Food service at the pool was amazing. I couldn’t find pool maintenance to turn on the hot tubs, but maybe next trip.

Better than home
Enjoyed the spacious layout of the resort, felt more like home and less like a hotel. We went for the great hiking around nearby Fallen Leaf and Lake Tahoe and appreciated the hot soaks in the mineral pools. The unit was also spacious and comfortable with a great bed and everything we needed for the weekend. The nearby Genoa Bar had a great live band on Sunday afternoon. Only negative - mosquitoes when the wind dies down, bring bug spray.

The best thing about this property was the spaciousness. Things are a little dated, but it was so nice to have a kitchen and dining area as well as sitting area - we used the sofa as a bed. Updates would be great, but even without, I'd say there again if in the area.

Decent stay
The 1 bedroom unit was nice, had a jet tub in the bathroom. The first floor was convenient, but we could hear the second floor guests, who must have had a toddler. The king mattress was on the firm side, which is not really what we like. Almost everything you need for the kitchen, nice big fridge. They do not clean daily and there was only one days worth of coffee, so ask for more or bring your own.
