Ok, but can always be better
Staff was amazing and friendly at the late hour that we check in, however by no fault of the staff their system did not accept my credit card. Or so I thought. I ended up getting charged over $2,000 on two different cards!!! Which led me to have to wait 5 to 10 business days for the pending transaction to be released. Also, that amount charge was not the amount that I booked the room at, it was higher! This was not the experience I wanted to have at the start of my vacation. Everything was fine with the rooms, we booked a two bedroom suite. They were just as described, nice and roomy. Parking is available and I am a fine print reader. Nowhere did I find that it would be an additional cost per night. I plan for everything, but getting three different answers to why I am getting charged for parking was highly frustrating. Overtime, I was able to get the charge for parking removed but I would have appreciated more transparency in what the extra charges are at the start and a consistent answer from staff. This hotel did offer complimentary breakfast which was a bonus and another reason why we booked it. On the other hand, when you offer complimentary breakfast and then have your kitchen staff grumble that your guests are greedy when getting the complimentary breakfast that the staff members employer offered was rude, highly offensive and unacceptable behavior on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! When no doubt the hotel is full to capacity.

The customer service was very poor by the night supervisor. I had forgot my wallet at home because of a family emergency and advised him that I can have him e mailed my license. He said no there is nothing to talk about and was very rude. I had 6 kids in the car and he said there was nothing we can do. I then asked him if I can change the name on reservation and he said yes. But really feel he was not trying unless I brought up the a solution. Very closed minded and rude. Very rude and not helpful. I’m glad hotels.com was able to help me out. Bad Customer service…

Amazing place to stay
My husband and I booked this hotel for 6 nights after a cruise. What a great decision. We had a large suite with a kitchen. The room was very clean and comfortable, and although we said every second day was good for housekeeping, our towels were replaced daily and a general clean around was done. Emptying trash, replacing coffee etc. The staff there are lovely, very friendly. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and we especially loved the warm swimming pool in the afternoons, then sitting around the fire pit at night. The area seems very safe and the airport shuttle was very welcome We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back there next time we are in Tampa.

Hotel under construction. Website doesn’t mention that. Front desk tells us “parking ramp”, no directions what to do after you park. Took the elevator down to first floor, doesn’t take you to hotel, back on elevator up to second floor. We had to walk back down the ramp, back into the hotel, then figure out where the room was. Good 20mins from ramp to room. Little directions would have been helpful. Room is very nice, and comfy. Shower roomy, very nice, minus no water pressure.

The property is recently renovated and was very clean. The big issue was that on Saturday morning around 8am after getting back to the hotel late Friday night after a concert, they were doing construction in the room right next to us. They were hammering and pounding for hours.

Be aware that this hotel is under construction! I booked this hotel because it was on a list from a medical facility where I was having a surgery and that they gave discounts to their patients. False . They told me they had never heard of the facility and no discounts were given . Two , when I came back from surgery and needed much sleep and rest , we were greeted with very loud construction with many workers also talking very very loudly . Come to find out the construction main office set up was the room across from us . It was a disaster. I called the manager, and he told me we could move upstairs to another room . I was in no shape to be moving rooms , and asked if we could get some discount due to the extreme noise. The manager only wanted to argue with me , and I was not feeling well , nothing got resolved. The room was very clean. I had the 2 bedroom suite it had 4 queen beds 2 bathrooms and dining room it was awesome !!
