Not Our Favorite
We wanted to like this property, but my partner and I agreed that we would not stay here again. Staff were very friendly, but we didn’t like the overall accommodations.
Sargassum was bad which is out of their control, but there was construction at the beachfront that I could not exactly figure out what they were doing.
The back seating area of our cabana was adjacent
to the restaurant, so I felt it didn’t give adequate privacy. Also, cushions on the outdoor furniture were worn and uncomfortable.
Pool area was ok, but we prefer an adult only hotel to avoid screaming kids. I blame myself for this because I should have selected an adult only hotel.
During our stay, one of the properties on the entrance road was burning the lot for clearing two of the nights, so there was a heavy smoke smell.
We had a three night stay and our room was never cleaned, but our towels were changed .
The hotel is at the northern end of the Ambergris Caye, so the area is nice if you want to be out of the hectic main town.
