I would stay here again. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, not to mention the bathroom is a luxury bathroom with soaking tub and rainfall shower, which is unheard of in typical tight bathrooms in Japan. All the staff I spoke with knew adequate English and were more than willing to help with whatever I needed.
The housekeeping system is also well thought out. They will not disturb you if you do not request cleaning but will replenish your towels, coffee, tea, and free bottles of water daily.
The location is outstanding. Kintetsu Nara station a few doors down, 7-11 and Lawsons convenience stores also a few doors down. You also get a head start toward the main attraction, Todaiji Temple, ahead of others staying on the west side near JR Nara.
Fantastic value and fond experience! A real hidden gem!
