I will start with the two good statements. #1 the beds were pretty decent in comfort and #2 the employee who checked me out on Saturday was very nice. Thats all of the good.
On day of check-in, (waited quite a few minutes for desk clerk to appear), I asked for a 1st floor room, was told nonavailable, but you never see anyone going or coming from those rooms. I requested this because as soon as I arrived, I felt a little uncomfortable being a female and all of the customers being male as much as I could tell by parking lot and having a phobia about being in an elevator by myself. (crazy world we live in, you never know). well, anyway she didnt even check for me, just flat out said no. So she proceeds to give me my room key she assigned on 2nd floor (rm 214), so I pack my stuff up there (no carts around) and upon opening the door, there is a MAN sleeping in the bed, there are laundry baskets full of clothes spread out and the room smelt of something awful. I immediately shut the door (fortunately w/o waking the man) and haul my stuff back to elevator and down to clerk to inform her and she states," oh I don't show anyone in that room, I will have to go see who's in there", and proceeds to give me a new room, which upon entering was hot, muggy, and it too had an awful smell, the tv was going out so the screen was mostly blue. There were men (probably construction workers) hanging out in the hallway and music playing pretty loudly. Checked out next day!!!!!
