The hotel advertises “PetFriendly”, and NOWHERE does it mention, on any of the links in hotels.com, anything about a pet fee. Upon check in and having mentioned a pet, the hotel assessed an exorbitant non-refundable pet fee. Had there been any mention of that on the hotels.com app, a different hotel would have been selected. In that the room cost itself was non refundable, they have you by the throat. That is extremely disingenuous. The pet fee will be placed in dispute with the credit card issuer. That is simply a pathetic way to do business.
