A bit more and you will be there
The hotel is located relatively close to the airport and was a good base point for our Yas island trips as well as city trips.
We were extremely pleased with the following: 1. Excellent staff experience (would particularly like to mention Kate from reception and Inam ans Vinod from the Ginger restaurent)
2. Cleanliness of room and housekeeping services
3. The desert chef did an amazing job each evening with both the variety of deserts and the great taste of them
What we liked less was:
1. The matress was horrible - it was so hard that it made it difficult to sleep well. We asked to change it twice and they did it but the replacement wasn't better than the original.
2. Food quality - Feels like there was more emphasis on quantity rather than quality. I salute the kitchen staff for the huge variety of dishes but it felt that it is not the quality I would have expected from a 5 star hotel. I would rather have less items to choose from and feel they are more exclusive. Also, I felt that it was sometimes missleading in terms of what they advertised for dinner and what was actually served, for instance Tuesday was supposed to be Asian night and the menu stated there will be Sushi and Gioza but non of this qas served so we felt very dissapointed.
All in all it was a relatively good experience and I feel that if they improve the food and the matress quality, the sky is the limit.
