El hotel es maravilloso. La habitación amplia y bien distribuida. El personal super amable y atento. La ubicación del hotel increíble. Los alimentos y bebidas exquisitos y buen precio. Es un hotel para verdaderamente relajarse. Quiero hacer un reconocimiento especial a Paula que nos atendió excelentemente bien.

La habitación es muy bonita y las vistas al mar espectaculares. Estuvimos muy relajados. Lo único que echamos en falta fue aislamiento ya que por la noche se oyen los ruidos del exterior y entra luz.

Peaceful stay with great views and friendly staff I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Isla Soy. The location is excellent, with nice views and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The hotel itself is great, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit — the service was one of the highlights. A couple of suggestions for improvement: it would be nice to have a few extra amenities or activities so the stay doesn’t feel limited if you’re there for several days. Breakfast was good, but a bit restricted in options. Also, they charge for almost any extra, including basic items like mayonnaise and ketchup, which felt a little excessive. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely come back. The combination of the peaceful setting, nice views, and welcoming staff made the stay enjoyable.

Beautiful, small island resort. Nice for a 1-2 day stay. Peaceful and relaxing. Staff was amazing. The rooms could be a little cooler from the heat, but overall a great experience

Entire staff was excellent. Since it’s such a small boutique resort they really catered to us. Even remembering how we took our cafe con leche. Food was excellent as well. Loved our room and hearing the waves crash through the night

Amazing small Hotel

The Stay in this new Hotel was amazing. In the Hotel, there is not much to do but there are a lot of boats and Jetskis that pass the Hotel where you just can book something. The Staff was amazing, they also organised me a pick up at the Cartagena Airport.

We stayed for 7 nights and had the most relaxing of stays. The staff paid attention to all details. Jesus, Dana, Beatrice, Alberto and all the other lovely staff were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. If you are looking to disconnect and enjoy a relaxing time, this is the place to visit. As a bonus, all of the food we had was delicious.

The Islawa site photos accurately reflect the spectacular setting and beautiful rooms. A tropical sanctuary. Impeccable service! Make sure you get in touch with the hotel before arrival, you will definitely require short boat transportation which adds to the exclusivity

Hospitalidad impecable en un lugar de ensueño

Tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa en el Hotel Islawa. El entorno es precioso, el hotel muy acogedor y la comida deliciosa. El servicio fue excepcional, especialmente Alberto, quien estuvo siempre atento y amable. Todo el equipo fue increíblemente considerado cuando nuestro hijo tuvo una reacción alérgica: se volcaron por completo para ayudarnos y todo salió muy bien gracias a ellos. Estamos muy agradecidos y con muchas ganas de volver. ¡Gracias por todo!

El lugar es muy bonito, las habitaciones limpias, bonita la decoración y muy cómodas. En comida tiene mucho por mejorar. El tema del silencio no es tan así porq es el paso de las lanchas a Cholon entonces desde temprano se escucha el ruido y el olor a gasolina de las lanchas y jet sky.

Lovely secluded hotel in great condition. We loved our stay here! We missed more vegetarian options on the menu, but the staff were kind to adapt the dishes. The food sometimes took quite long to arrive. Furthermore, it would have been nice to offer some complementary water or larger bottles at a cheaper price than 10,000 pesos for 0,50 liters.

The island itself is very beautiful and is a great escape. Lots of great food options at the restaurant. However, on our first day the property lost power for the whole day. I would’ve assumed there was a backup generator. Also, I had to keep reminding the staff for towels each day, and they would give me 1 towel every time.

I’d like to start by saying this was an amazing experience. - Expect Baru Island prices - you are also welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks there’s a fridge in every room! Staff is incredible and welcoming - front desk both the lady and the man are incredible! Bartenders… amazing. Overall - everyone is nice and polite- definitely coming back! As for the hotel itself I’ll say this: paradise. Baru itself is far away from the city so expect open roads (if you can afford to pay oxen transportation take that - much cooler) The hotel will handle your transportation!
