The Grand Hotel in Kiama is a historic building conveniently located in the centre of Kiama and close to the large blowhole. Consider visiting the much less visited small blowhole, which is far more regular and blows more than many of the large blowhole's blowing. The hotel has extremely high ceilings, far higher than any other hotel that I've stayed in. The rooms are basic but the floor is clean and the water is hot. The room with the private bath is huge.

Loved this place. Its nice clean, more basic accommodation, but it was great fun staying in a heritage pub in the middle of Kiama. My wife would've preferred a private bathroom, but there were plenty of well maintained showers and toilets available, which I personally enjoyed using as it immersed me into the pubs heritage and didn't see anyone else. Pub has a good range of food and beers. Proper old school Australia experience very central for Kiama and walkable to town centre, beaches and blowholes. If you're a bloke, love an old pub, decent beer and Australian history, look no further. This is heaven!

Very basic room amenities, shared bathroom and toilet needed updating. Helpful and friendly staff. Very good position for town centre and facilities Essentially a pub where accommodation is secondary.

The staff were fantastic the room (#2) spacious and comfy and the food was delicious. Steph met us at check in and she and the staff were beyond welcoming. Def nicely surprised by our exp - recommend this place and Kiama is gorgeous

It’s a great old pub however the stairs going up to the top floor are pretty skinny and steep so if you struggle with the stairs I wouldn’t stay here. The room was clean but pretty small, the door banged on the bed as we opened it. The TV was placed in a very strange place so you couldn’t watch it from the bed :/ We only stayed a night. I’d probably stay here again but with a bigger room.

Enormous room with 2 queen beds. Very comfortable. Very close to train station and waterfront. Great place to stay for a couple of nights to walk the stunning Kiama Coastal Trail
