**Kelapa Retreat & Spa** is a true gem located in one of Bali's quieter areas, far from the island's overcrowded and noisy spots. The essence of this accommodation lies in its tranquil atmosphere, offering a peaceful retreat where one can escape the hustle and bustle of Bali’s more popular destinations. The staff here embodies the warmth and hospitality Bali is known for, with their always smiling faces and attentive service. Communication is seamless, as everything from room service to laundry requests can be easily managed through WhatsApp, making your stay even more convenient. This was our second time returning to this serene haven, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking tranquility and a deeper connection with themselves rather than those looking for noise and excitement. A small tip: be sure to use mosquito repellent, especially if you stay in the garden villa. While there were no issues indoors, it’s best to be prepared when enjoying the beautiful outdoor surroundings. Not a daily problem, but worth noting for comfort. We would also like to express our gratitude for the lovely gift we received upon our departure.

Kelapa comes right up to a black sand beach, and the view from the pool is fantastic. The rooms are more than spacious, and if you have a villa with a private pool you will have a full size pool; not a plunge pool. It was the perfect escape to wind down and relax after spending the first part of our trip in the more busy and crowded areas of Bali. If you are looking for a slower pace and more space than the more touristy areas of Bali this is the place.

Vi bookede i god tid et ophold hos kelapa spa and retreat, hvor der på forhånd var blevet betalt. Vi ankommer til vores første hotel på Bali, og modtager 2 dage inden indtjekning på kelapa en underlig e-mail om, at vores reservation er blevet annulleret. Begrundelsen er dårlig Google oversæt lignede engelsk, og vi får ingen hjælp fra hotellet. Heldigvis hjælper hotels.com amerikanske kundeservice os, og de finder et nyt hotel til os. Det bliver lovet at kelapa vil stå for regningen her, da vores reservation er annulleret og vi ingen refundering har modtaget. Efter indtjekning finder vi ud af, at kelapa ikke har booket det nye hotel eller betalt det som aftalt. Amazing.. We went for honeymoon and it was heaven for us.. Staffs were so friendly specially kadat.. Big Infinity pool and resort so big u dont need to go elsewhere. Private beach was super clean and they offered bycicle free.. Me and my wife joined so many activities, romantic dinner, deep sea fishing with fisherman.. Everythingwas fabulous. This is the best place to stay in Bali! Customer service is hand's down the best ever around. From checking in to the restaurant to the cleaning people huge congratulations to you! Food is unbelievable. They will take care of everything you could want and want to do. It's 3 hrs from the airport so what worth it. Taking day trips to the tourist areas is easy with the driver you get. Right on the beach away from people and the surf is legit! Thank you kelapa for an amazing stay we will be back year after year now! You made customer's for life with excellence in service.

Glorious resort, wonderful staff.
The staff made this place extra special. They were so attentive to our needs and never once failed to greet us with a smile. The resort is heaven on earth, so peaceful and relaxing with a quiet beach. We were sad to leave. It's very remote, so I recommend choosing to go on one or two of the tours arranged by the resort to see the island properly. Our two trips were incredible and our drivers were both such nice people. They made sure we got an authentic experience. Highly recommended this resort to couples.

Siivous toimi erinomaisesti, mutta villassa näkyi hieman kulumisen merkkejä pienissä yksityiskohdissa. Yleinen piha ja uima-allas olivat hyvin ylläpidettyjä ja rannalle oli vain pari askelta. Hotelli on myös suhteellisen pieni kokonaisuutena, joten ruuhkaa altaalla, aamiaisella tai muissa palveluissa et tule näkemään. Hotellin oman ravintolan ruoka (aamiainen ja illallinen) olivat erinomaisia. 2hlön 3 ruokalajin illallinen juomineen kustansi noin 50€. Henkilökunta oli todella auttavasta! Hotelli on kuitenkin kaukana kaikesta muusta, joten jos haluat tehdä retkiä muualle saarelle, vie se aikaa: saaren liikenne on todella ruuhkaista ja tiet kapeita. Esimerkiksi matka lentokentältä hotellille vie n. 3h. Päivän reissut hotellilta varattuna (ei muita palveluntarjoajia) kustansivat n. 80€/2hlö/10h. Hotellin lähellä ei myöskään ole paljoa nähtävää tai muita ravintoloita. Mutta jos haluat rentoutua omassa rauhassa kauniissa ympäristössä ja nauttia hyvästä palvelusta, on Kelapa (paikallisten ääntämänä Klapa) erinomainen hotelli!

Très bel endroit en dehors de la masse touristique de Bali. Belle plage de sable noir sur des kilomètres et des kilomètres. Excellente chambre/villa avec piscine privée Piscine d l'hôtel à débordement avec vue sur la mer Repas copieux

The property is a great place for getting away from everything. I liked the calmness and the nice staff but I didn’t like the fact that there’s nothing interesting within the close radius and that the retreat had only a kitchen and a spa, they could add some amenities since there is literally nowhere else to go

En enastående anläggning för den som vill koppla av med god mat, massage och avskildhet. Fina stora rum. Vi hade vår pool direkt utanför sovrummet och på morgonen kunde man öppna glasdörrarna ut, ta två steg och sjunka ner i poolen. Magiskt. Det fanns möjligheter till utflykter, men vi fann ingen anledning att lämna hotellet på de fyra dagarna vi var där.

The Kelapa retreat and spa is the most incredible place I’ve ever stayed! The whole vibe was just beautiful, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your time and they always have a smile on their faces. Kadek was so helpful prior to us arriving, organising every thing for me via email and Ari was always there to help us with his team. The food at the restaurant is authentic and delicious, the rooms are beautiful.. I can’t wait to go back and highly recommend Kelapa
