Loved our stay at Katerina's apartments! Very basic apartment, not anything fancy at all but great for travellers on a budget and had everything we needed. Only note is that we had the most random cooking appliances, like a frying pan but no spatula .etc. - little things like this could be added to make cooking at home easier.
It was a good 20-30 minute walk into the Old Town but please be aware that it's VERY steep. We're fit girls in our mid 20's and found the walk home quite hard work in the heat or after a late night. Still do-able, but sweaty! Definitely couldn't wear heels. Taxi's are quite expensive, so we did the walk multiple times a day. At least it made up for all the delicious Greek food we were eating!
View from the terrace was stunning and Katerina was so helpful and lovely. Our key broke one night and she popped over in the morning to replace it with no problem.
Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend it as long as you don't mind the walking!
