I chose the Nova for its proximity to Yankee Stadium. Easy walk. It is a neighborhood hotel. No view, but a good choice for what I needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet, slept well. Free onsite parking is a big plus. The parking lot is not secure, but that wasn’t an issue. I would recommend the Nova to any Yankees fan.

Our room had no rack for garments or a place to dry them on rainy days. No clearout or even a floor brush. It was only a cold shower. The ventilation did not work. And so on.

There was used drug paraphernalia on the window sill and under the lamp I found a used joint. In the bathroom there was mold. I brought it to the management attendant notification. We were told because I booked with a third party their was nothing they could do. That's bull it's because they already got paid and we were done in nyc.

Location close to Yankee Stadium only positive. Free parking, but cars park so close together it is very difficult to get out. When you enter the hotel a strong smell pf marijuana permeates the aair and the partition at the desk is dirty and smudged. The smoke detector needed a new battery and no one ever replaced it, so we had to remove it from the ceiling as it was chirping. The window curtains were ripped and
