Great stay for our visit to Sedona. I always prefer a place with a kitchen, and this was a superb option. The hotel is on a golf course, which was really pretty and expensive. Very quiet, very few children. 20 minutes to Sedona, and just a 5 minute drive from cottonwood. For us, it was perfect since we didn't want to be right in downtown tourist trap. Things to know: there's no housekeeping during your stay unless you ask for it, and the amenities are a bit dated (like we had a dvd player and the gym has a circa 2009 life fitness all in one weight machine). But who cares? We had absolutely everything we need, including a nice big bathroom and the local flute player on Thursdays right off our patio. I highly recommend highlands for your visit to the Sedona area. It was absolutely a great option. I'll definitely be staying here if I'm in the area again.

This was our 4th stay at Highlands. Condo was clean and well appointed. Staff was friendly and the rate was good. It's a great lower cost alternative to staying in Sedona which was only a 15–20-minute drive and only 5-10 minutes from Cottonwood.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The room was spotless with many details such as leaving dish soap, paper, towel, towels, etc., which was highly appreciated and kitchen equipment was in my opinion, all completely there. The slight downside is I took my granddaughter‘s. The playground was beyond the parking lot and not very uplept—but also it is winter time. I would definitely return or recommend!

The bed was infested with bed bugs and we had several bites. We have pictures and video of the bugs. It was my worst stay at any hotel, short term rental or vacation home. The staff was not helpful.

An adjoining door in the bedroom with in arms reach from the bed. How would you feel if you got into a motel or a condo and there was an adjoining door to the other bedroom in the next room in your bedroom 5 ft away from the lousy bed???!!! I was told all of the rooms were this way, when I told them that I was not okay with it and I wanted a different room. When the neighbors came home, I could hear everything they said in the bedroom and every cabinet door that closed in the bathroom. Whoever had this building designed with an adjoining door in the bedroom is the most ridiculous design of architecture for a condo I have ever seen. 30-in TV screen above the microwave. Are you serious? You call this a resort? I can stay at any motel 6 smallest I've ever seen was a 36 usually more& within viewing distance. They have DirecTV. Even when it was not raining at all, The picture reminded me of watching TV in the '90s. I haven't watched TV with that crappy of a picture in that long. The glass table top in the dining room has no pads or non-skid rubber under the glass. EVERY TIME YOU REST YOUR ARM ON THE TABLE IT MOVES AND SLIDES... EVERY TIME THE TABLE SLIDES AWAY FROM YOU!!! The lighting is horrendous, It's like walking around in the dark. whoever decided to paint the walls tan might have thought about increasing the lumens that are provided in the lighting that is provided in the room, so it's not like you're walking around A room with some Edison light bulbs in it.
