Just a little disappointed
As many other have stated, the property is in mint condition and in a nice, quiet, spot on the water. The bed was indeed super comfy and the room very clean. I am a little confused on an email that I got from the hotel shortly after booking, saying that my stay had been charged in full and there is no refund. They are looking forward to my stay and they are reminding everyone that as stated on the website: DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE NEAR OR ON THIS PROPERTY. I did not see this note on Hotels.com nor on the hotel website. Since they already charged me and there is refund available I had to find a dog sitter last minute. When we arrived at the hotel several guests had dogs and there was a sign saying dogs are allowed in the ground floor rooms for $10/night?? Not very cool to say the least. Also, no breakfast not even a cereal bar? A little odd when they charge almost $200 for a “motel 6 style” room.

Cute motel with nice little added touches such as k-cups for your morning coffee in coffee mugs, furnished silverware and nice towels. The bed was comfortable, Air worked well, nice hot shower. The lady who checked us in was super nice and talkative. Hotels.com did advertise that it is on the water which is somewhat false. Pool felt warm and was clean. Nice sitting area near the canal. Nice hotel for the price.

This island is not worth staying here.
This place could be cute with some major overhauling. You can tell that most of the freestanding furniture was newer, but every bit of the actual construction looks and feels like it has not been touched since the 80's. The "checkout" process is a joke - I sure hope nobody took my key out of that highly secure mailbox! For almost $200 a night on a random Tuesday, they are banking on the fact that Marco Island does not do inexpensive. If the Boat House were more like the Postcard Inn in St. Pete I'd stay there again. As it is I'd stay closer to Naples, have some amenities, and make the drive.

Great location, good value.
Great location and friendly staff. We had a room that had a very comfortable king bed but the queen bed was horrible so my sister and law and I ended up sharing the king bed. Had it been someone that wasn’t comfortable sharing or 2 couples then the queen bed would have been a real problem. It is an older motel and could use a little renovation however it is well maintained and clean.

Bästa läget precis vid vattnet!
Fantastiskt ställe precis vid vattnet och med pool och uteplats med sol hela dagen och fina solnedgångar. Stora rum där övervåningen har balkong med sjöutsikt och hälften av rummen på nedervåningen har uteplats. Nån minutcatt gå till restaurang med allt från frukost till nattliv och livemusik. Gå tre minuter till så ligger Snook, en stor sjökrog också med livemusik. Precis bredvid finns också båtuthyrning, jättefina områden att åka i! Gillade verkligen Boathouse!

We took a short trip to Marco Island prior to a tradeshow in Orlando. We stayed at the Boathouse based on reviews. We were not disappointed! The hotel had a nostalgic feel to it and reminded us of childhood motel stays. The rooms were very clean, well stocked, and the owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We came down just a few days after hurricane Milton came through so we were a little concerned that there would be lot of damage and power out, etc. We didn't experience any of that. Most of the island had already been cleaned up and no issues with power. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the Marco Island area and would highly recommend it to others!

Owners and staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and everything worked great. Great wifi in each room. Being on the water is very relaxing and their deck area is fantastic, especially if you like to fish or just watch nature.
