When j arrived the door to my private outdoor room was open and I struggled with the key pads, especially in the rain. My introduction to the place was brief and not warm and welcoming as all the other places I stayed at were. I had one of the truck rooms which was fine & cute but I could not get warm water. I either had freezing cold or scalding hot water. The owner was not helpful in helping me figure this out and didn’t understand that I had one or the other. She thought I just had cold water because I was at the end of the truck and asked if I wanted to shower elsewhere but didn’t follow through on where elsewhere was. When I sat for dinner the one night I ate at the restaurant, she forgot about me for 20-30 minutes. Once my food was served, I never saw her again until I went to leave at which time I found that my shoes were missing. (You take your shoes off when you come into the main building.) By this time I didn’t care anymore. Customers she knew well and appeared to be regulars were attended to. I was not. The tables also didn’t get cleaned in between customers during the breakfast buffet so I cleaned my own which the owner saw me do but didn’t offer to come clean. The breakfast buffet on day 1 was okay, day 2 was much better and had more variety. I don’t like giving a bad review but I would
not recommend this facility.
