Will stay again
It appeared that hotel room #234wasn't completely ready for me to check in. There were no plastic cups or coffee cups in the room. There was only one bath towel. There was no notepad or pen in the room. There were 3 bottles of shampoo, no bottles of conditioner.
I received a text after checking in, welcoming me and stating that if anything was needed to reply and it would be taken care of. I replied concerning no cups were in the room, and that I would like to have one more bath towel for shampooing my hair. I waited about 45 minutes, then went to the front desk. The same young man was there that had checked me in. He told me that he had seen my response. And??? No action on his part. He wasn't the most responsive when I checked in or to my request. I went out to get dinner. Upon my return I stopped again at the front desk and asked for a towel and cup or glass so I could at least brush my teeth. When I check out of a hotel, I usually leave a 'Thank You' on the pad in the room with a tip. No pad, no pen - no tip.
The lady that checked me out was very friendly, professional, and courteous. I mentioned to her that the toilet seat in the bathroom of my room was loose and needed attention. She noted it immediately for the maintenance crew. The lady that was stocking the breakfast area was friendly as well. I will stay here again, as I usually do when my job brings me to town. Hopefully the young man that worked the desk in the evening will be more professional and attentive.
