I asked to stay in an all girl room but to my surprise, was sharing the room with men. And those weren't the quietest people. Also, I reserved the room for 2 days but was charged for 3 days. Other than that, everything else was good.

The hostel is right at downtown Vancouver with restaurants near by. Staff at front desk are friendly get in late the other bunk bed are already occupied and light turn off. Avoid waking up others.

Hostel muito bem localizado, bem no centro da cidade e próximo a diversas opções de transporte público. Para quem não liga para o agito do centro e gosta de estar perto das principais atrações (ou do transporte para outras mais distantes) é uma excelente escolha. Apesar de estar localizado em uma rua de muito movimento, não existiu barulho que atrapalhasse o meu sono no quarto durante a noite. A equipe do hostel é cordial e prestativa. A limpeza dos ambientes é adequada. Tem espaços de convivência e trabalho. Cozinha bem equipada. Não gostei do fato de não existir um protocolo de limpeza/lavagem dos utensílios (pratos, canecas e talheres) usados pelos hóspedes no café da manhã. Cada hóspede lava os utensílios que usou e vi muitos hóspedes lavando bem precariamente os utensílios utilizados e os devolvendo para uso de outros. Gostei muito do café da manhã. Fiquei em quarto compartilhado e não tive problemas. A cama era confortável e a cortina ajudava muito na questão da privacidade. Tive bons colegas de quarto nessa estadia. Os quartos possuem gavetões para armazenamento de pertences possível de ser trancado com cadeado, o que foi excelente. O hostel também disponibiliza local para armazenamento de bagagens maiores, o que é excelente. Atividades de trilha são oferecidas de sexta a domingo. Participei na sexta e no sábado e gostei muito da experiência. A coordenadora das atividades foi super gentil, cordial e prestativa, bem como nos guiou com zelo e atenção.

I am a frequent flyers for years . This is the first time to stay in a hostel. It is definitely better than those 200dollars a night hotel . I understood there is a trade off for a shared room but it is clean and people are nice ! For this price . I would definitely come back again

Very nice staff, a staff from Hong Kong who works overnight shift at the front introduced me a lot of restaurants, spots and highlights in Vancouver. There are different tours which are free and held by the hostel. Nice and huge common area and open kitchen to cook. The washrooms are generally clean too. Overall, pretty good experience to stay there, and it is in a very convenient location. Just one thing to mention, if there is a lock for the locker in the room that will be perfect.
