Dirty digs
This morning I spoke with Britannia who might I add is a breath of fresh air. she is polite helpful and very accommodating she is an asset to your operation. We booked our stay here for an event we will attend this evening. We booked this hotel as it boasted very nice rooms at a reasonable price. By looking at the photos on hotels.com I assumed we would get what we saw on the website. Which by looking at the photos looks clean and accommodating how ever we got to our room and realized it didn't quite look like we had expected. We had to leave for a dinner event so didn't get to talk with the staff last night. But the Room at first glance seemed ok but then I on closer inspection I noticed things that I feel should be automatically taken care of if the rooms are being cleaned properly. The lamps on the nightstand are rusted, the chair in the room is very dirty I wouldn't want to even sit in it, the shower pan is dirty and mildewed. There was a ring inside the toilet that I feel even a brush around the bowl with a toilet brush would have taken care of. Another thing which I feel was rather disturbing is when I took my shower the steam left a disgusting message on the shower door which had the glass been cleaned properly would not have been left behind. I want to be clear I'm not one to complain and can live with a few things not being as expected but I have to say there is a great deal of room for much improvement.
