There is no luxury here anymore. No concierge, no bell hop and no hot tub! Last 3 visits it was broken and under maintenance yet they charge you resort fee. Monitors in the gym not working and no robes or hotel toiletries given! Far cry from what it use to be!

While I appreciated that at check in we were told we were being moved to a different room than the one we reserved, since the air conditioning wasn't working - the air conditioning unit in the room we got was like a jet engine taking off near our heads! Also, I went to remove a towel from the rack in the bathroom and the bar crashed to the floor because it was not secured to the wall, pieces were missing needed to screw it safely into place. I also was aware that every person checking in or out in front of me was also complaining about something in their accomodations.

We were charged for a restaurant meal that we never had. We called FIVE times to dispute this charge but never heard back. We ended up disputing through AMEX. While mistakes do happen, not addressing/fixing them is inexcusable. We recommend that you avoid this hotel and stay at the Hotel Taconic, which is nearby, newer, and better run hotel.

Check in was great. Our room was ready early, so we were able to check in right away, after a long drive. And I was able to call in to a meeting from the privacy of my room. There is a long walk from the entry to the elevator. My husband has a walker and it was difficult to get back and forth to/ from the room. We stayed here before - many years ago. The hotel is showing its age and could use some refreshing. Equinox team were great. Friendly and helpful.

The property is beautiful and the area is great; however, the resort is in desperate need of a refresh. I’m not sure how they can charge this much for rooms per night. The spa had lovely services but again, needs renovating.

A Complete Disaster, Not what it once was... Our group stay at The Equinox in Manchester, VT, was an absolute disaster. We experienced numerous issues that made our stay incredibly uncomfortable and frustrating: No Air Conditioning: Many of us were without AC and were only provided with fans. Some guests noted not having AC for days. Employee Behavior: Upon arrival, from the back entrance the windows were open with employees clearly arguing. Great first impression. Property Condition: The building is in disrepair with shingles falling off the roof, moldy rooms with peeling paint, and dead trees in the yard. Amenities Missing: Some suites had no TVs, and there was no cookware available. I guess the kitchens are "bring your own cookware on vacation"? One family in our party didn't have windows in their room only a sunlight. False Advertising: The description of the hotel as "graced with timeless elegance" and offering "luxurious accommodations and modern comforts" is completely misleading. Don't expect a robe, coffee, water...there will be nothing in your room that would indicate you were in a resort, but, you will pay a resort fee. Restaurant Issues: The main restaurant was closed, and the food at the Tavern was inedible. This once magnificent historical resort has clearly been neglected for quite some time. The management and owners should be ashamed of themselves for letting such a special property fall into disrepair. We were thoroughly disappointed and would not recom

Lovely mountain escape
I stayed at the Equinox while attending a horse show in the area. As always, the Equinox is a gorgeous property. My room was huge with tons of windows (fabulous views of the mountains behind the resort). The beds were super comfortable - both the bed and bedding. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Our group also loves spending time eating/having cocktails out on the back deck. It is heavenly!!! I was happy to see that the Equinox had increased staffing compared to last year.
