Happy New Year?
My wife and I never been to Leavenworth and found your hotel on -line. With the time of year we knew prices would be inflated. However, for the price we paid for 2 nights; I would expect we could have had our bed made and at least fresh linen & towels as we were not notified we were required to asked before receiving. We went down for the breakfast, small area with no seats available. I tried to get a cup of coffee and it was empty. Nobody available to help at front desk when I wanted to check out. Leavenworth is a Beautiful town. We had a great time with friends and were stunned by the Gorgeous scenery. The Staff at Der Ritterhof Inn were very polite and we were thankful for their hospitality! Happy New Year!!

Disgusting
First off when we opened the door we were taken back by the smell of pinesol converting up pet urine. The was a white residue on the carpet by the door and the table. The bathroom faucet had just a drip of pressure and the water was brown. No exaggeration with that statement. I will never stay there and will tell everyone I know to stay away.

Old, needs updating
Rooms are old, need upgrading. Walls are so thin that you can hear everything in the next room and the family above with little kids shook our ceiling all day and night. Horrible stay. Bed was comfortable though. Breakfast had dry egg patties and gray sausage patties. Front desk would not give us late check out and acted annoyed when we asked if they would store our bags. Do not recommend this place

Clean. Great location. 1960s decor. $400 price tag
Pros: * Location is great - near the village so we walked everywhere which saves the $40/day in parking that the local lots were charging. * They have a great pet policy so you can travel with your dogs of any size. This is rare and a huge plus if you're bringing your dogs. * Rooms admittedly well maintained considering the age of the decor. It did NOT smell, which I was half expecting b/c it's wet and dog friendly and has carpets. They must change those carpets frequently. Cons: * The decor hasn't been updated since 1960s. It shows. * There are no accessible/convenient outlets unless you unplug their lamp or alarm clock. No excuse for this in 2024 - at please put out some power strips. * We didn't try their breakfast - it looked like 2 kinds of cereal and a make-your-own waffle appliance. * There is no cleaning during your stay (we stayed 4 nights). We ran out of toilet paper mid way. When we went down to ask, we got 1 roll. It's a bit cheap considering . . . * They were charging $400/night/room. I get that it's touristy location and likely very seasonal. But for $400/night - I expect a little more.

Hotel intentionally misrepresents policies, including 14 day cancelation (when you call, its actually 15 days which they claim is 14, even though written policy they send and on 3rd party website is 14); they charged the whole stay 2 weeks prior to arrival (their written policy says 1 night to hold the room, then they lied about the policy meaning when confronted); they tried to charge me for my SA (even though I'd told them in advance); they lied about my SA urinating on a bed (he would never and was never even alone) then switched the lie to that their was mud on the top sheet (ordinary use due to the conditions). When I confronted them about their intentional misrepresentations, they simply claimed I was wrong (I'm not). There were other cleanliness and safety issues. Stay away from this hotel.

Good stay- convenient location and friendly staff allowed early check in. Only issue was all dispensers (soap, shampoo, conditioner) were empty. Not a big deal- just a surprise once you’re in the shower!! But very pleasant stay in all.

The gal at check in was rude and condescending. For a hotel that size, the breakfast room has about 7 or 8 tables total and it's in the same area as check in. It's incredibly crowded, the selections are few.
