Not worth it
It was dirty and smelled. There was hair in my shower. I counted 4 different colors of paint on the wall. The lock on door was broken. The bed just sits on a frame and felt like a jail cot. My back is killing me now! They wanted a $100 deposit for something not worth the room rate alone. This was my first time at a hotel in years and never aggain! I will keep doing Airbnb. Much better bang for my buck!!!

Scary and Disgusting
Absolutely the most disgusting property I have ever spent time at. I had to hold my nose to even get on the filthy elevator, and the hallways had trash on the floor and an overwhelming stench. There were blatant security issues as well. When I checked in the clerk let me know that none of the outside access doors locked anymore so they were all just propped open. Not only that, but they required a $100 deposit and have not refunded that even though the stay was nearly a week ago.

Awful hotel stay
Upon arrival, I got this angry old white guy which had a very bad attitude, and I should have left fight at this moment, but I was tried, and it was really late. I was given Room 229 which was right next to the Highway which I didn't get any sleep due to the loud noise from the Highway traffic. I personally think that clerk did it on purpose. The bed was hard like a rock & No Clothes iron in the room at all! Truly feel that actual 'homeless' folks live here! The place is ran down, everything old & nasty. Just a place I'm not use too. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my emeries! Also, I have pictures of holes in the door just in case someone tries to charge me additional cost for exsisting damages

Based on Expedias description, photos, and rating I selected this property. Traveled to KC for a memorial. I attemped to check in at 4:52. Ceck in is 3:00 pm. I was told by Dave at this they had no idea what rooms were clean so he wouldn't check me in. The room I actually reserved (2 double beds) they didnt have this updated reservation although I shared the confirmation # and email. Being tired I tell them just give me a room. A woman stopped in the office said they have clean sheets on beds but they aren't made and no towels in rooms because they are in the washer so I should try back in 30 minutes. As you can imagine I am frustrated, hungry and just want to get to my room after driving into town first thing in the morning straight to the memorial and afterwards to the hotel. I leave to go eat with family and return at 9:20pm to attempt to check in again. Dave is the only person working and tells me I need to wait as he helps the guest before me get into her room; after 2 trips Dave checks me in. I enter the corridor to the elevator to the 2nd floor I am hit with this foul, unclean odor, the floor of the elevator and walls are dirty stains..sticky, wet spots on floor. Getting off on the 2nd floor met with more of the smell. The room is nothing like photos on Expedia. Double bed is a full on an iron frame no box spring. Bathroom floor dirty. I refuse to stay Dave refuses my refund. 1 hr17 min later Expedia is no help with refund or relocating me to a new hotel!

If you were in a bind and needed a place to sleep it would do. It wouldn't be your first choice. Common area smelled like smoke. Everything looked old and used up. I have to say the front desk person was very nice and understanding. It didn't have any amenities. The room was clean, there's not much that could be done to make the very old things look better. We only stayed one might in both rooms.

The property is very quiet & hardly run into others but in DESPERATE need of updating as well as paint and carpet - the cooktop stove is great if your traveling with pots/- its decent but those that are accustomed to hotel with amenities will be disappointed

Stayed two nights during the week. The room had a strange odor when we got there, however, lighting a candle and opening the window to let fresh air in helped get rid of the smell. Otherwise it was pretty clean. Also, the two pillows on the bed were very flat. So flat that we put both pillows in one pillow case and went to the department store up the street and bought another one. I like that you have to have a key card to enter the building.

If you want to get contact height then this is the place for you. When you step into the building it’s just a cloud of smoke. Even with a nonsmoking room it was awful. Headaches the whole time I was there. Absolutely terrible. Will not ever be staying there again.
