Overall stay was ok, the room was spacoius but lacking of soul. The swimming pool is nice, breakfast ok.

Very disappointing
We booked 4 nights but stayed only one night. The lobby is a car port with a table. It is located on an unpaved remote laneway. The outdoor stairway was littered with debris. There is no restaurant except a small outdoor area with tables. Part of the hotel looks like it is under permanent construction. The power goes out frequently in India but the hotel has no generator so is completely in the dark. They do have a sister hotel up the laneway that has a generator and was able to provide Wifi and food, although expensive for India. Our room was as pictured so somewhat cute, although gaps under the doors let mosquitos in at night. The pool looked fine.

Wundervolles Hotel auf den Klippen
Ein wundervoller entspannter Urlaub direkt auf den Klippen über dem Strand. Die Zimmer sind spitze; großer Raum, Bett mit Blick aufs Meer und Bad mit Regendusche. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, selbst wenn nicht jeder gut Englisch spricht. Zusammen mit den Einrichtungen/Angeboten des Partnerhotels (150m die Straße runter; unbedingt die klasse Ajurveda-Massagen ausprobieren) bleibt kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Das beste ist der kilometerlange Strand an dem außer ein paar Spaziergängern niemand die erholsame Ruhe im Urlaub stört; für Action sorgen die großen Wellen.

Rustic charm that needs a bit more care.
A lovely pool area with fashionable rooms that are now rather rustic. We paid for an aircon room but quite frankly it wasn't worth the extra as the aircon wasn't efficient. Housekeeping of the pool area would benefit from being increased in particular the cleaning of sun beds and immediate pool surround that was often ant infested. This bit of extra work should not interrupt the Eco environment which should not be an excuse for insufficient cleaning. Saying this the whole experience, the calm and quiet was worth an awful lot and we very much enjoyed our stay.

The Eco hotel
Hotel in superb setting on the South Cliff overlooking the ocean. Separate from the main Oceano hotel where you could walk a short distance for main meals. Staff created a relaxing environment and very obliging.Swimming pool was kept really clean and was so lovely- snack bar there for snacks and cold drinks. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend as such a special place.
