The Garrison est un hôtel bien situé. Tout peut se faire à pied (plage, resto, épicerie), le personnel a été accueillant et a répondu à nos besoins. La chambre était propre et confortable.

Very well located, suite was nice, large and very complete. Many dining options and grocery at walking distance. Everything was perfect for us !

First, our hostess was very friendly. Room was clean but quite dated. Little sparse ...a spare blanket or two would have been welcome (wouldnt have needed heater). Found it odd to ne require to do our dishes or face a fee. Never have seen that before. Overall, yes we would probably stay again. It was a bonus that they are one of very few hotels in the area that are willing to allow a second vehicle per room. Very convenient.

We would return.
Our room was very comfortable and it we had chosen to prepare our own meals, there was adequate facilities to do so. We felt welcome and were offered daily towel exchanges if wanted. The view over the salt water marsh towards the beach was great, especially at sunrise. It appears to be a very well run business.

Great view. We had a little room /almost a cabin with kitchenette. It was small but everything was there , the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Perfect for our weekend road trip!

Basic 1970’s era motel
I was a bit surprised that this is essentially a 1970’s era motel. Very basic rooms. No housekeeping but you can get daily towel exchange. Must wash your own dishes when leaving or you will be fined (no dishwasher - I washed my dishes and utensils before using them just in case previous guests didn’t). Not close to the beach, there is a swamp between the beach and the motel. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable, just ordinary.

There were small blood stains on my sheets. There was some sort of bug in the shower. This was on the right side of the property where there are smaller rooms. Very outdated. Some of our family stayed in the two story building (for $10 more) and it was very nice and no complaints.

This was my third stay at the Garrison - I obviously love it. I am always amazed by a friendly greeting and the cleanliness of all areas of the hotel's grounds. Thanks for all that you do to keep us comfortable and safe. Your suggestions for the area are always helpful too.

Wonderful check in/ check out. Bed was super comfortable & the room was huge although they could be updated a bit. Super convenient as I made my way up the coast of Maine. Directly across the street you’ll find a food truck court with many selections & picnic tables for lunch and dinner. For breakfast… you can’t beat the donuts and the beach is super close for a full day of fun.
