Do NOT Stay Here
Upon check-in we learned Monday & Tuesday there would B live music in the evening. There was band practice 4 a few hours Sunday.
R room, 106 was no more than 30 ft from the stage. Carrying a conversation in R room was a no-go while “live music” played. Monday music ended @ 9:30 pm. Tuesday went until 8:45 pm. Multiple speakers R directed @ the window.
Had we been provided information about the “live music performances”, we would have made a different decision to stay at Villa del del Sueno knowing how loud the property would be in the evenings for the room we booked. We anticipated a peaceful stay not a concert venue with the band shouting for the audience to be louder and louder outside our window.
After our stay I contacted hotel management. See photo 4 their response. Check-in is NOT the time 2 B told about the music. At check-in we were NOT informed R room would literally shake. At check-in we were NOT informed that we would not be able to carry a conversation while music played. At check-in we were NOT informed that we would not be able to use the room to sleep while music played. This property has three rooms that are directly across from the sound stage: 106, 107, 108.
Good luck finding outlets 2 charge electronics.
The hotel has 2 beach chairs 4 daily use which can be checked out in the AM; if you know about them. We learned about the chairs from other guests. Not all rooms have fridges.
I am with others who do not understand the high reviews.
