Wer keine Ansprüche und Ferien Budget hat
Lage des Hotels ist Super. Nahe am Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Ein Grosser öffentlicher Parkplatz ist in der Nähe. Das Bett war weich, aber bequem. Das Zimmer was nicht besonders sauber und hatte ziemlich viele Baumängel. Der Geruch beim Betretten des Zimmers war von Chlor erfüllt. Der Checkin war an einem anderen Standort als unser Zimmer war. Preis-/Leistung hat für uns nicht gestummen. Zimmer war sehr ringhörig und die Poolpumpe draussen war sehr gut zu hören. Insgesammt nicht der allerbeste Eindruck welches dieses Hotel hinterlassen hat. Zimmer waren nicht so wie auf den Bildern.

Rude & inconvenience
Check-in was very inconvenient. We had to check-in at a whole different hotel. We walked from the original location to an other. The receptionist was extremely rude! She talked about us to her friend/co-worker in Spanish thinking we didn’t understand what she was saying about us. Since we were upset and frustrated at that point she threatened to call the police. The hotel itself was dirty and dusty! In the morning my husband was looking for an ice machine and bumped into a cleaning lady and he asked where is the ice machine (mind you they have an ice bucket in the room) she angrily said “NO NO ICE!” It seems like all the staff are frustrated and angry and management could be to blame for that but don’t take it out on your customers. I would gladly pay an additional) $100 or more for a nicer and more welcoming hotel. This will be my first and last stay at waterside hotel.

Miami Wedding
Came down for a few days for a post Valentine’s Day wedding in North Beach. The hotel was fine, but it was awkward to have to go to another hotel to check in and not know about that until I had paid for public parking across the street. Several guests has the same issue from what we saw. The room wasn’t bad. Beds were decent, everything was clean, bathroom was surprisingly good. Only issue really was they only gave one roll of toilet paper for four people for 3 days and we had to request multiple times via text for more and towels. We did get them the second day though. Besides that, tv channels were limited so kids weren’t happy at first but we hooked an HDMI to a laptop up to it and problem solved. Overall, not terrible but not great. Good area with good food options in walking distance. Parking right across the street for $1 an hour and free overnight.

I’ve stayed here before (last spring) and one of the things I liked most was that the office was staffed 24/7. Now the office is literally two blocks away. Making matters worse, they rarely answer the phone when you call. I was having problems with the tv and I literally had to walk two blocks to let them know. They said they would send someone right over so I went to dinner and walked around a bit and when I got back to the room two hours later it still wasn’t fixed and I had to walk two blocks to the office again to let them know. That said, the room was clean and fairly spacious and I do like the hotel overall and the price was great. It’s a short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants and it’s way less touristy and quiet than South Beach. The mini fridge routinely froze my beverages and I couldn’t find a way to turn it down so I had to remember to put things in it a few hours before going to the beach instead of overnight. Also the AC was noisy. If you’re high maintenance you probably won’t like this hotel but it’s fine if you can handle minor inconveniences. I’ll stay here again.

I was in this hotel once before, and the experience was good, so I decided to stay here again. However, this time the experience was different. When we got to the hotel, we had to do the check-in in a different location. It was raining, so my husband had to walk Two blocks under the rain. When we got to the room, everything seemed OK. The bed was done, everything was in its place, but then I realized that nobody had cleaned their floors. I don't know if they forgot to clean! It was really dirty and dusty. It was disgusting. I truly believe that they forgot to clean, because I don’t think any hotel would consciously give its client a room that dirty.

Poor
Two emails from them before check in, both with incorrect information so I went to the wrong building, had to find a hand written sign directing me to another building to check in, then back to the first building because that's where my room was. Empty bottles of shampoo and body wash in the bathroom, no coffee for the morning. It all added up to the feeling the hotel just doesn't care.

Very nice location and price, but…
Very nice location and rooms, but the address was incorrect where the check in was on the hotels.com since they recently closed the office. I Had to walk 3 blocks for check in. Then they assigned us to another building that wasn’t on the reservation and had to walk 6 blocks to find that building. Never experienced something like this before. Also didn’t see the ridiculous “resort fee” until arriving, a nice surprise. I wouldn’t say that I wouldn’t reserve this location again, but now I know the hoops you have to jump through to stay here.

Not horrible, but not a hotel ..
The check in gentleman were very nice, but that was the only time I could reach them until check out. The onsite office is under remodel or construction, so my family and I had to check in at a different location, then go to our hotel location. I would not call this a hotel, it is a motel. There is no one on site for any issues, housekeeping only every 3 days and the outside entrance. We were aware there wasn't daily housekeeping, but my family and I were there 3 days and no one came to empty trash and they have tiny trash cans. We used multiple grocery bags from our weekend shopping to bag our trash best we could. It was very convenient that a hot plate and cookingware was there. That helped cut costs a little. Overall, the place was clean when we got there. Some stains on the linen though. We had 2 double beds. My bed was horrible, it slumped down as you say or laid on it. I am not a heavy individual, it was clear it's an older or worn out mattress. The other one was decent according to my kids. We ran out of toilet paper within the first day and I couldn't get a hold of the office. I left a message with no response. I ended up going to Walgreens around the corner and buying my own. I would recommend this for a cheap, convenient place to sleep if you don't want any amenities and want to be completely on your own.

Worst communication ever had. Check-in info was a cluster. One said needed to check-in by 12PM, another said 1AM, or room might be forfeited unless we called. Our flight was delayed so we called. No one answered the number or ever returned any voicemail. Hoping for the best, Uber dropped us off (where indicated check-in was) just before midnight. Office door was locked with sign saying check-in moved to another location, effective that day. We were stuck googling that address and directions. Since Uber had left, we had to walk to that location with our luggage, in the dark, at midnight. Front desk guy apologized but said check-in location changed more than a week ago, and that we actually had until 4:30AM to check in. He drove us in his personal vehicle to 3rd location where our hotel was. He gave us sheet of paper with a number to call if we had issues during our stay. Well, we needed more toilet paper, towels, and advertised beach towels. Since there was no front desk, we called that number. Come to find out, it was the same number we had called on our arrival date with no answer. Again, we left a message and again no answer. I have never been to a hotel with NO front desk or NO way to contact the hotel. Daily “resort” fee only covered a pool the size of a postage stamp. Room had only 1 wine glass and no hand towels for bath or kitchen - had to use a bath towel for hands/dishes. Socks turn black from filthy floor. Room smelled musty. Never again!
