Not a four star hotel at all!!!
This was an awful stay that forced us to check out after the first night because of the poor service experienced at the hotel. Check in was slow and we were told to sit and wait despite arrived almost two hours after check in. The room we were given did not have a bath as requested and were told to wait another hour to get the correct room. Arrived in the new room which did not have hand soap, hand towels or an extra blanket. Had to call all the options on the phone over 8 times before finally getting through to reception and requesting soap and extra blanket. We were brought soap and toothbrushes (???) and told they would come back with the blanket. Had to call again half an hour later because it didn't come. None of the restaurants were open for food and we were told they are not taking orders at the roof top cafe because of a function that evening.
The next morning we requested to cancel the second night and check out. The front manager Mr Nasser tried to offer us free things and upgrades to make our stay better but we just wanted to leave and head back to UAE. He told us he could not approve refunds and to wait to meet the hotel manager Mr Ebrahim at 12pm. We wasted half the day waiting for him and he didn't arrive. Then left the hotel to see the city and came back at 6pm and were told he's gone and can't see us.
Don't stay at this hotel. Overall poor service and response and we are still waiting on hotels.com and the hotel to sort out our refund for the second night.
