Ubicación privilegiada y apartamento precioso
La mujer que nos atendió fue encantadora, tuvimos una avería en el coche y le pedimos entrar y salir más tarde porque desconocíamos cuándo íbamos a poder llegar y accedió sin problemas, aunque finalmente no hizo falta. Tenía un espacio común con horno, algo de comida que podías usar (aceite, especias... ) y cookies caseras. Además la decoración de la habitación para tres era muy chula, nos encantó la ubicación (pudimos ver auroras) y el propio "hotel".

Overall good place

Hotel tres bien situe, pas loin de jokulsarlon, a 15 min en voiture. La mer est juste a cote avec dehors vue sur mer. L hotel en lui meme est assez basique, et la deco des chambres ressemble a celles de chambres d hopital, avec l odeur qui va avec. Bon accueil, avec le sourire. Les prix que ca soit celui d une nuit ou du resto sont abuses. Pour le resto, pas trop le choix car c est tres isole, bien qu il y ai 2 ou 3 hotels a cote. J ai voulu prendre une souppe pour en faire un repas, c est tres commun de faire ainsi la bas. Il y avait 2 options de proposees pour la meme soupe. Une faisant office d entree et l autre de repas. Avec le tarif qui va avec...j ai donc pris celle faisant office de repas : au final 20 euro pour une soupe tenant dans la moitie d une assiette...12 cuilleres peut etre....c est du vol!!! Je n apprecie pas cette logique de faire payer un max, un minimum de prestations...je n ai pas l habitude d ecrire des commentaires sur les reseaux sociaux ni de donner des feedback mais la pour le coup, la souppe n est pas passee...

Staff was not very nice when we initially came in. Room smelled damp and was very warm (with no thermostat to control temperature). Parking was far from our actual room. No food options nearby, we had to drive over an hour to the next town for lunch. Personally would not stay here again.

Excellent property located in a quiet settlement 45 mins from Hofn. Very near to the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Great restaurant and breakfast. The rooms are a little old and needs some work. We were surprised by the lack of phone charging points near the bed. Other than that no complaints. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Amazing swathing views of the mountains and sea.

Nice place to spend the night. Friendly staff and because it is far from city lights, it is an excellent place to view the aurora. The room was spacious and clean.

Nice quiet location. The main house has four rooms upstairs and only one bathroom. That bathroom does not have a separate shower but a soaking tub with a handheld shower head. The kitchen is in a separate building that contains a Kitchen/family room and bathroom ( with shower) on the first floor and bedrooms upstairs. The rooms and facilities are nice and clean.

Great stay!
Clean, organized, simple, the host was very welcoming and helpful. The guesthouse has all you need (food, drinks and warmth) when away from civilization. It’s also located first line to the sea.

Fantastic views from the chalet, good breakfast. The chalet had very limited facilities but was very clean and warm. The stay was spoilt by discovering on arrival that one of the two rooms confirmed had been sold to someone else forcing us to share a room that we did dot wish to do.
