"We had a great time at Alexander Hotel. The rooms were comfortable, with a good bed and pillows and everything else you might need. We would have liked to have bathrobes and slippers in the room as well but this is a small thing.

is very close to the hotel and is also nice, would be good to have bathrobes for this purpose.

. Everyone was super helpful. Lots of very good places to eat close by. Recommend Copper for dinner (across from hotel), and Tulum for breakfast (20 minute walk on the beach but worth the effort). Nice shopping street around the corner.

Restaurant is good eventhoug service is quite slow. 3 courses menu was delicious and the wine well paired. Cheese fondue though was not so good: it taste like a 'ready to use' package that just need to be warm up from the supermarket. So the " specialty" status is overrated. If i come back I'd be happy to help the chef cook a proper fondue as I'm very good at it.
All in all very satisfied by my stay."

The elevators could be faster, but in a 4-story buidling, it is not terrible to take the stairs to its unique mezzanine and then down to the Kurzaal, the restuarant, and the terrasse. ...
