I would say this hotel is just okay, but for the price I paid, it wasn’t worth it. The rooms didn’t look like the pictures, and the hotel is definitely showing signs of wear. Certain areas, like the rugs in the lobby, looked old, dirty and dated. The paint in the room was peeling, and a piece of wood holding the air conditioner had broken off.
The hotel is trying to advertise itself as a boutique hotel, but it completely missed the mark. Nothing felt authentic or original. Instead, there were random wall stickers used as decoration, which made the space feel cheap and unthoughtful.
The areas near the elevator and stairways were very dark. The stairwell had motion-sensor lights, but they weren’t sensitive enough—my husband almost tripped going down the dark stairs.
There was a coffee and tea station on each floor with cookies and candy, which was a nice touch, but unfortunately, it didn’t make up for the overall experience.
The hotel staff was generally friendly and helpful, except for the heavier woman with blondish hair, who was not as pleasant. I wouldn’t book here again. The only thing I really liked was the location—everything was easily accessible, including the metro.
