We were charged by Expedia and then again by the hotel, raised the issue whilst still there and were told by hotel staff that Expedia wouldn't release the money to them. We then rang expedia to be told this was rubbish and that the hotel shouldn't have charged us again. We have since been waiting for 3 months to be refunded, hotel has been promising payment and telling lies and basically fobbing us off. On top of this the efes is watered down, the bathroom ceiling was falling down, there was a Turkish couple fighting in one of the rooms all night and the hotel staff did nothing to resolve this. Supposed to be a four star hotel, clearly penny pinching and desperate for your money and then even when they know they have made an error and they apologise they wont refund you your money, just tell you lies. I think they think oh you are back in the UK and can do nothing. Serkan, receptionist, took our money, then admitted this was an error and then has since been telling lie after lie, fobbing us off and expedia when any calls are made. We are now having to get the money back through other legal channels, do not stay here unless you want to be lied to/conned out of your money
