"We loved it!!! Definitely going back !!!!"
Çırağan Hotel Bosphorus
"We chose this hotel because it was conveniently located close to the venue where we were attending a wedding reception, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, we were very pleased with the hotel. Everything was clean, beautifully maintained, and welcoming. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was equally spacious and spotless. I was initially a little hesitant about booking breakfast because of some previous reviews, but I’m so glad we decided to include it. The breakfast was excellent, with a generous open buffet offering plenty of fresh seasonal fruits, a wonderful selection of cheeses and breads, as well as fresh omelettes and waffles prepared to our liking. The location is another great advantage. It is about a 15-minute walk to Ortaköy and around 20 minutes to Nişantaşı and Galataport. We especially enjoyed the beautiful walk along the Bosphorus, with stunning views all the way. The hotel is also conveniently located near the pier for daily boat tours. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning to return to the same hotel when our daughter comes to visit us. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to coming back!"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Istanbul
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Istanbul is between January and March, when hotel prices are generally lower. For those on a budget, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended to fully appreciate the city's significant landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions. During this period, visitors can explore impressive churches, monuments, museums, and stunning architecture, as well as enjoy delightful cafes and dining experiences. With prices potentially dropping during these months, travellers can enjoy great value for money while immersing themselves in the rich history and vibrant culture of Istanbul.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Istanbul, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and special last-minute promotions, ensuring you don’t miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. You could receive notifications if your preferred hotels become available or if prices drop, making it easier to secure a spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you find a better deal for your stay at an Istanbul hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is relatively high, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a great rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive; however, with Istanbul's superb public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
