What a Mistake

Online, we booked a pet-friendly room. We got there, were informed (by a friendly young man) it's only service-dog-friendly, but for an extra $30, we could stay in room 112. We signed in, saw that it wasn't great, but we had places to go. When we returned in the evening, we saw just how bad it was, but decided it was too late for us to go looking for another hotel (bad decision). The bed was comfortable, but we have to say this was by far the worst room we've ever stayed in (we stayed at the Super 8 on Circle Drive in Saskatoon a few years ago, and it was fine!) Please look at the photos we're sending. We'd appreciate some kind of compensation or refund of the $174.31 we paid for a totally unacceptable hotel room at your 22nd St. W. location.

Keep looking, this isn't where you want to stay.

Either I was intentionally ripped off or the person who checked me in didn't know what they were doing. When I checked in, my reservation was canceled and I was charged a cancelation fee even though I paid cash for my room. The telephone didn't work, the sheets and towels didn't look clean, there was a large burn in the carpet, the curtains were askew, etc.

Overnight stay during travel

Everything about the room was clean but we didn’t like the look of the pillow cases. We simply asked for fresh ones and the front desk brought those up in less than 5 minutes. The room does need updating as it looks old and used (but clean). The location has very good restaurants within 5 minutes drive and parking at the hotel was great.

I didnt stay once I realized where the hotel was located. The hotel is located near a safe use center and a homeless shelter. Im not knocking the hotel or the people but the risk factor was just too high for me to stay at the hotel. I got the 2 Super 8 locations mixed up.

Hotel is run down and needs an update, room and bathroom were dirty, the door had gum stuck to it over the peephole, staff on site is not attentive, had to wait several minutes including calling out at the front desk to get someone's attention for checkin. Normally I enjoy Super 8's but this one is not up to par, won't be back to this location.

Horrible

As soon as walked in the front desk person was rude. Charged us an extra $100 because they knew there were no other options with a busy weekend. Towels were dirty. Sheets were stained. Blood stains on curtains. Food wrappers behind knight stand. Crumbs behind bed. I’ve never left a review before. Have stayed in so many hotels. This is the worst.

Avoid avoid avoid

Upon arrival i waited over 30 minutes to chrck in as nobody was at the front desk. I had to go up and down the floors to find someone and when i did i got attitude from thevstaff. When i arrived in my room which was no bigger than a walk in closet the bedsheets were stained and yellow. The fridge had moldy food in it, the microwave hadnt been cleaned. The curtains were fallen apart, there was no dresser to put my clothes, the wall had several holes in it, there were drugged out people passed out in the parking lot. I immediately left and demanded a full refund. This place needs a health inspection fast

When I arrived no body at front desk. We have to wait for 15-20 min. That after calling the hotel 3 times. Another disappointment was that we could not have an early check in ( we arrived at 1 PM). The sign on the front desk says check in @ 2PM. The staff is not very friendly and accommodating. We will never stay in super 8 anymore.

I've stayed in motels before, it's not like I was expecting it to be a hotel experience-- but please believe me when I say-- you're better off car camping than staying here. The floor had leftover chips and crumbs from previous guests, the towel had hairs interwoven into the fibers, and there were stains on everything. I'm not even talking about faded, clearly washed-out stains, I'm talking about fresh, bright, multicolored stains. You have blood, you have unknown yellow, and even some orange! And while security is okay, don't expect the front desk to help you for new sheets or anything admin-related to your stay. I'm surprised they're still in buisness at all. 0 Stars.

It was a place to sleep, decently quiet. The toilet was dirty as well as the carpet in the room. We were told we could have adjoining rooms over the phone, but when we got there they said the doors between the rooms don’t work so our rooms were a few door away from each other. We needed toilet paper in one of the rooms and were told by the front desk to find the cleaning staff to get some. There was no breakfast as they are working on the building.
