Wir hatten Cabana 27 - von dort aus hatten wir einen sehr schönen Meerblick. Die Cabana ist zweckmäßig im rustikalen Thai-Stil eingerichtet. Für uns war die Größe völlig ausreichend. Was noch positiv zu erwähnen ist, die Minibar wird täglich kostenfrei mit nicht alkoholischen Getränken und kleinen Snacks gefüllt. Kaffe und Tee ist selbstverständlich auch auf dem Zimmer. Essen im Rim Lae war zwar etwas teurer als draußen aber dafür auch sehr gut. Insgesamt hat das Hotel Optimierungspotenzial (Pool wäre zwar schön, dort könnte man aber durchaus das ein oder andere verbessern). Sehr nett fand ich den kostenlosen Shuttle vom und zum Pier. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb, Roller ist zu empfehlen, man kann es aber auch laufen (entweder über Strand - wenn Ebbe und Flut passt oder über die Straße- aber da geht man schon ein paar Minuten…) War für uns aber kein Problem da wir einen Roller hatten oder im Hotel essen gegangen sind. Für Menschen die schlecht zu Fuß sind, ist das Hotel nicht zu empfehlen. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem guten Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, wie in Thailand üblich.

We lived our experience at Cabana resort. Excellent customer service - the front desk staff are extremely accommodating, close to the main strip (short walk along the beach ~10 min walk), great breakfast selection (all included) and beautiful beach. The whitesand villa is outstanding, very beautiful. Would recommend this hotel 10/10.

This hotel is beautiful. It is up the quiet end of Sairee Beach but close enough to walk in to the action. The rooms are beautiful - just like the pictures. The restaurant is lovely - great food and a wonderful breakfast assortment. Both buffet and a la carte. The pool is lovely and there are great Cabanas to lie on at the beach - which is basically private being that it is at the end. Would thoroughly recommend. Great pricing for what you get also.

We stayed at the hotel for five nights. The room was spacious, clean and had an excellent view. A little further away, the sounds drifted into the room, but it wasn't disturbing at all. The restaurant's food was excellent, which made dining really easy because you didn't have to look for a place to eat. You can enjoy the sunset every day because you can admire it from your own beach or from a purpose-built vantage point in the hotel area.

Koh Tao Cabana is perfect place to Stay in Koh Tao near Sairee beach. The staff are friendly and always helpful and the beautiful property is tranquil and relaxing. The Rim Lae restaurant has delicious meals and there are plenty more great places to eat a short walk down the beach.

Il personale e i servizi sono di alto livello, mi hanno sempre accontentato e aiutato. La camera però aveva il bagno con una decina di piccole finestre tipo “oblò”… senza vetro né zanzariera ahimè. Quindi oltre alla temperatura come il centro di un vulcano, mi dava l’impressione che dovessero esserci insetti tipo ragni e zanzare (i primi li ho visti, le seconde no ma spruzzavo continuamente il prodotto contro gli insetti)

An oasis

This is a very unique place filled with details both outside and inside. It is a very private feeling resort though you are a 5 minute walk from Sairee beach, shops restaurants and diving centers. I would highlight the magnificent staff. They obviously love what they do and it shines through your interactions with them as a guest. The beach at the resort is on the far end of Sairee and almost feels private. The restaurant is good as is the complimentary breakfast. I will be visiting again.

Beautiful bungalow with an Ocean View, the restaurant has a beautiful view and good food, great location (not too close to the main streets but walking distance though), great staff Some cons : The amenities could be improved : no gym, the snorkelling equipment is bad etc. Overall really recommend for a few nights !

Wunderbarer Ausblick, aber insgesamt enttäuschend

Toller Ausblick auf den Strand, leckeres Frühstück und schöner privater Pool - alles in allem aber nicht das, was wir uns unter einer Honeymoon Cottage Villa vorgestellt hatten. Der Raum ist recht klein, Klimaanlage bläst direkt auf das Bett, Bad ist im Freien, so dass man sich dort wegen der Mücken nur recht kurz aufhalten möchte. Vieles ist einfach nicht durchdacht: kein Lichtschalter am Bett, kein Schatten auf der Terrasse, Terrasse komplett einsehbar vom Strand, rutschige Stufen im Bad… das Personal war nett. wirkte aber oft hilflos. Der Strand fällt extrem flach ab, gut für Familien mit sehr kleinen Kindern, das Wasser ist dadurch aber sehr warm und teilweise wirkt es schlammig. Dann noch drei Tage lang Baulärm aus dem Nachbarcottage, nicht wirklich das Erlebnis, das wir gesucht haben. Schade, denn die Anlage ist wirklich schön gelegen und hat viel mehr Potential.

Perfect place for our honeymoon

My husband and I honeymooned in Thailand, spending half of our time exploring the mainland and half of our time on the islands in the gulf of Thailand. Our stay at Koh Tao Cabana was a highlight. Our room, an ocean view white sands cabana, was perfect. It was a quick walk to the beach, restaurant, and right by the pool. Quiet and romantic. We didn’t intend to but ended up eating all of our meals at the restaurant. The price was okay (high for Thailand, low low low for home) but the food was excellent, there was a wide range of options- Thai and western cuisine, and the view couldn’t be beat. I went diving with Coral Grand Divers which was a 4 minute walk from the door of our room to the dive shop. It was overall an excellent stay and we absolutely loved our choice to go to quiet and romantic Koh Tao Cabana vs the chaos that is the rest of Koh Tao.
