For the money it was just ok to be honest. The pictures do the hotel a better service than in real life. The food was below average. Service was slow even though there weren’t many guests at all. The beach was very quiet and nice, which was easily the best part about the hotel.

Realmente All Inclusive
O hotel realmente tem sistema all inclusive. Tem opções de refeições e/ou lanches que se somam criando possibilidade de comer entre 7:00 e 00:00. Cafeteria no hotel com expressos, doces e sorvetes. Bar de piscina com várias opções de drinks ilimitadas e sem espera. Tudo muito rápido. Na praia temos uma parte de Doctor’s cave totalmente reservada para hóspedes com guarda-sol e espreguiçadeiras grátis. Fora isso as instalações do hotel não deixam a desejar. Recomendo. Vale a pena o investimento.

Pros S Hotel is a beautiful facility, the rooms are gorgeous and the decorations are lovely and represents Jamaica and I loved that. We loved having access to the beach which was gorgeous and we had no problem getting beach chairs. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly with the exception of one staff member however people are human so cannot let one bad apple spoil the bunch Cons I do understand the rule of no smoking on the beach however the smoking areas are set up if you are a child on timeout, a little bench in a corner, if you are a smoker you too want to enjoy your trip and there should be a full smoking area where you can also lounge and enjoy relaxing. Same issue in the hotel and we were also told we could not smoke on the balcony which is crazy. Again they should have an area set up by the pool for smokers and no smokers alike, in the land of ganja how stupid Breakfast was regular not bad typical options however lunch options were poor with the exception of roots rock restaurant, we ate out on the pier most days. Room service closes at 11pm, hotel entertainment boring Lastly for a luxury hotel the drink options were horrible, all this money we pay and they have no premium liquor choices or COCONUT water on an Island resort. The top liquor you could get was dewars and Smirnoff how ridiculous, again we went off the resort to pier1 and paid for better choices. I gave it an 8/10, I definitely cannot see how this hotel gets 10/10. Please step your game up

If you’re looking for a very relaxing, peaceful and fancy vacation this place is exactly it! I went to celebrate my birthday with my husband and it was the first time in Jamaica, the experience was amazing! Top notch (staff, service, hospitality, restaurants) Side note: if your booking this hotel, make sure when u check in, make reservations to restaurants to avoid disappointments :)

The things that were good, which we expected from an expensive all-inclusive: the beach is protected and nice. The umbrella and chair service was good. Views are great here. On one night the band was spectacular. A couple of the meals were really good. The spa pools downstairs were relaxing - hot, medium, cold, etc. Some of the servers were very nice, personable and attentive. The room was good, not great for tv channels but the shower and bath were nice. The things that bothered us and we won't return because of: there are many dilapidated areas of the hotel - the gym is really bad, old machines, old weights, lacking for a serious workout. Some of the restaurant ceilings are falling down. The decorations are cliche and getting dusty. Only one out of our 5 nights was there good entertainment. A terrible band was one night and a terrible karaoke another. Nothing otherwise. The hotel touts 3 reservation restaurants but only one was open each night of our stay. Huge negative! It is really hard to get buzzed on the great jamaican rum or other alcoholic drinks here. Bartenders seem to know how to pour light drinks all day long. You literally can't get drunk. The wines are terrible. We found that over 5 days, the servers that cover the pool and beach will forget to bring your drinks about 1/3 of the time. Please do not leave the hotel for the Hip Strip or otherwise! It is a terrible area of town with drug dealers, desperate clothing vendors, etc. Get your souvenirs at the airport

If you’re looking for a resort just to relax this would be place. It’s a boutique hotel with great pool area, and beach. Wonderful friendly staff and good food although not a huge selection comparing to a large resort. Special thanks to assistant general manager Marlon. Our original room when we arrived had A/C problem. Marlon within minutes found us another room with an upgrade, sent someone to help us pack and move our stuff. Throughout our stay we saw him checking on property, guests, staff and quality of food. It’s this kind of service that has guests coming back. The rooms are specious although not a lot of storage space. The cleaning service did a good job making sure the room always had clean towels morning and evening as well as essential. There’s not a lot going on in the evening other than different singers at the pool area that were good. The atmosphere in the dining areas was inviting, and it was a great way to experience local cuisine. The beach area was beautiful and well-maintained, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation. Overall, our experience at this boutique hotel was wonderful. The personalized service, combined with the serene environment, made it a memorable getaway. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat. Thank you to Marlon and the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable! We look forward to returning in the future.

The location is beautiful and since it is a smaller hotel it was not overly crowded with people. There were ample spots on the beach every morning for us to have our pick from. Their workers come down to your chairs with you and would lay out a nice pad and pillow with a towel for extra comfort. Laying under the trees or an umbrella was so relaxing and makes the sun bearable. The ocean water was so calm and refreshing - a beach goers dream! There are also pools near the bar and on the roof top. The room was very nice and very clean, the staff did a great job with upkeep. My only complaint was the food. The buffet wasn’t open for dinner every night we were there and there wasn’t a warning it would be closed so we didn’t really know when to make reservations at their in house restaurants. The bar and room service had the best food by far. The buffet was lacking most days compared to other resorts I’ve been to. There are gift shops close to the hotel but my advice would be to stick to the ones closer to the hotel. The locals are forceful and will pretty much bully you into buying from their shops. Overall the hotel was nice, the beach was outstanding, and the staff was beyond friendly, welcoming, and accommodating.

I traveled with a group in March of 2023. Our experience was amazing! Food was delicious grounds well kept and the atmosphere was peaceful & relaxing. Overall experience was 10/10. We would definitely revisit.

I loved the beach - the water is crystal clear, the sand is smooth & clean. The attendants are always there for loungers/umbrellas. The look & compact size of the hotel is perfect. The 3 ala carte restaurants are very good with excellent service - not all three are available everyday, so make sure to make reservations ahead of time for your stay. Schedule is available a week in advance. We also enjoyed the Irie Baths(free to guests, just need a reservation), and I had a Swedish Massage which was reasonably priced and excellent. Highly recommend the red snapper at Roots Rock and the Rib Eye Steak at Jam Rock. Unfortunately while the buffet has a good selection and tasty food, the service is spotty. There are a few servers that are attentive, but just as many ignore you. We ate breakfast and lunch at the buffet every day and some meals we had plates piled up as they were not getting removed, while other days they were whisked away right away. The housekeeping kept the room clean, but again was strangely hit or miss with the amenities. Some days we got 2 bath towels, some days 3, some days they forgot wash cloths, sometimes face towels, even though I made sure to leave a tip everyday. Overall we had a great time and the few inconsistencies with the staff will not stop us returning and we will happily recommend the hotel to friends.
