Loved our stay!
We booked one night due to a travel issue with the airlines, before our previously set stay but wish now we had stayed at Victoria City for a few more days. Very close to some great restaurants in downtown Oranjestad, and super easy access (walkable) to the cruise port area. The staff was so nice and the room was absolutely beautiful. The area around the hotel is definitely older, but totally fine. Be aure to stop in the restaurant attached to the hotel, Mainstret, they make the most gorgeous cocktails!

Very small and very inexpensive.
It was a clean very small room. Staff was excellent but the area around the building going to the parking was very dark and dirty and not well kept. We were there for one night, so it suited its purpose and the price was hard to beat.

Several of the other hotels had mixed reviews this one had decent reviews and looked clean, and it was neighborhood is a little rundown, but the hotel is an excellent shape felt very secure. Everybody was friendly I willdefinitely come again.

You are in the middle of downtown. Many restaurants are in walking distance. As long as you have a car, you can go to any beach in Aruba within 30 minutes

GREAT value
The hotel is awesome. The woman at the front desk is more awesome. The very first thing I encountered was a man in front of me being told that his company didn’t order him a rental car through the hotel. He was disappointed. She offered to let him use HER car for two hours for free! I was stunned. The hotel is under construction. Know that going in and you won’t be disappointed. I was on the second floor. There is an open area on the first floor roof to enjoy the breeze. There was free coffee always ready. The bad: if you need absolute quiet, you won’t enjoy this hotel. You can hear people walking and talking down the hallway. But, you’re most likely looking at this place for the price - if you need absolute quiet, go pay $800 more for an over-rated hotel two blocks away…. Put in some earplugs if you need them (it wasn’t THAT bad) and smile knowing that, while those other suckers spent a fortune on their hotel, you just paid for your entire vacation with what you saved on this one. And you’re a ten minute walk from great restaurants, docks, beach, souvenirs. Anything more and you’ll need to have a rental car anyway. For which - free parking. This hotel was perfect for the price. I’ll most likely call it home base next time I’m here. The friendliness and generosity of the owners MORE than make up for the hiccups.

A choice only if your budget doesn’t allow more
My score & review tempered somewhat by the realization the price was a 1/4 or less what other properties with similar scores were charging which is why it gets 3 stars. I don’t understand all the 10s being awarded. My last stop before returning home on a 4 week trip through South America. This hotel was more than twice what I spent on average and was by far the worse property. There is so much wrong: Far from beach and things of interest, in the midst of a remodel to become a “boutique” hotel. On check in, I found it odd the front desk had to go check my room before they could give me the keys. The room was mostly remodeled and TINY! So much so I cut my leg open on the sharp wood of the bedframe walking around it as there was only about 12” of space. The AC wasn’t working, there was no remote for it. As we were walking up to the room I was asked if I minded if they came in to do remodeling work that evening, not something you want to hear after hours of travel. They clearly saw how irritated I was and moved me into a “deluxe” room at no additional charge. But oh my! Furniture out of the 70s that made no sense how it was laid out, can’t flush toilet paper, only tap temp. water in sink, and shower water temp. preset. No deadbolt for the door, no safe, no real place to hang clothes, 2 hangers provided. Noisy as it right next to the public veranda and also facing the adjacent gas station. Restaurant is a rip off, if they have the menu item at all and SLOW, 25 min for a wrap.

Dor de cabeça.
Decepção é a palavra. Reservei pra mim e esposa entre 1 a 3 de janeiro de 2025. Cheguei às 22h do dia 1 e nos deram um quarto sem chuveiro com água quente, ar condicionado sem ligar, televisão sem ligar. O funcionário Auricio conseguiu um quarto no andar de baixo, porém a única coisa que funcionava era o ar, continuando sem TV e sem chuveiro quente e o pior, de cara para um posto de gasolina, barulho à madrugada toda. Resumindo, não conseguimoa ficar a diária do dia 2 para 3 e solicitei reembolso, porém, até agora não recebi, apesar do Hotel concordar, restando apenas a Hoteis.com ligar pra confirmar.

Ótimo custo benefício!
Foi apenas uma noite, mas achamos o quarto muito confortável! O hotel é bom e promete ser ainda melhor já que há avisos de reforma. O staff é maravilhoso! Super simpáticos, atenciosos, educados e prestativos. Tudo atendeu perfeitamente as necessidades e expectativas, porém acredito que o local para estacionar o carro poderia estar em melhores condições já que estava com muita lama.

My main issue was when I got to the hotel the first night I let them know that the main light in my room wasn’t working! Many of us know when we travel we like to take vids pics etc of or trip but I couldn’t do any videos in my hotel room bc it was so dark. I told the guy at the desk, literally the first night, he said ok someone will come, no one so next day I tell them again, still no one. I was there for 4 days and noone came to fix the light (probably just change the lightbulb). That for me messed up my experience. Apart from that staff barely understands English which I get it it’s Aruba, however the guests are majority tourists so that is important.
