My stay at the Bristo Hotel came with some ups and downs. The hallways were dimly lit, making it challenging to walk around at night. Be sure to shower early, as the water is cut off by 8:00 AM, which was a hassle. One morning, I witnessed the front desk staff shouting at a guest for inquiring about the water situation, which reflected poorly on the hotel’s customer service.
The internet connection was also unreliable, only working for a few hours before dropping, making it difficult for international travelers like myself to stay connected. Street-facing rooms were quite noisy at night, impacting sleep quality.
On the brighter side, the hotel does clean the rooms daily, though they did forget to refill the soap dispenser during my stay. The real highlight was the breakfast, which was delicious, with excellent service from the waitstaff, who kept the dining area clean and organized after each guest.
While there were some positives, several improvements are needed to make this hotel a more comfortable place to stay.
