The only good things about this hotel are the shuttle, close proximity to the airport and the friendly staff. Good for in late and out early. It is dated and could use upgrading but price reflected that.

This is a fun place to stay if you are heading to the airport for the next day. The bar and Chinese food was excellent and the staff was great. Rooms are not the best but they work for one night. The airport shuttle runs every half hour and is very convenient.

It was OK but not great
This was a one-night stay before we flew out of Hawaii. The room was tiny and so-so comfortable. It was puzzling to pay a "resort fee" for a place which wasn't a resort. Staff were friendly but I'm not sure I'd stay here again unless I was desperate for a place to stay.

great for that overnight/transit stop
second time I have stayed - worth paying a little more for the queen over twin room. Rooms are small but if all you need is someone to have a comfortable bed and a good shower between flights then this is great. Really friendly and helpful staff - even at 2am. Advantage over other airport hotels is the shuttle runs 24 hours - give them a call from the courtesy phone (by luggage bay 24 but I am sure there are others) and they are there in 10 minutes. Little shop at reception has enough to keep you going over night if you arrive after the restaurant has closed. Will definitely use again for this type of stay.

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber. Im Badezimmer Wasser nicht abgelaufen, Wasserhahn und Dusche nicht sauber, Hauptlicht im Zimmer funktionierte nicht. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nahe am Airport (5min). Musste allerdings 35min auf den Shuttle warten, Personal unfreundlich

Older facility but good service
The customer service is excellent. We were staying overnight for an early flight. Shuttle service is excellent. The facility is older and shows a bit of wear. They have done well short of a complete renovation, laminate floors are nice in this environment, window air conditioner is louder than central air. It's located in an industrial area. The cost was very reasonable for the location. I would stay again overnight. I could give 5 stars for value and gracious customer service.

Friendly, Comfortable, Convenient
This hotel is quite simple with amenities, but we didn't need more than we got! The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, the attached Chinese retaurant was delicious, the cats living around the property were so cute and sweet, and the room was perfectly tidy and had all basic amenities you need in a hotel room. We got stuck in HNL due to a hurricane and needed to stay overnight last minute. What a relief to have a shuttle pick you up and drop you from the airport, a place to eat, and a comfy bed to sleep in only a few minutes from the airport. I will absolutely keep this hotel in mind for future quick stopovers in HNL.

Karaoke saved the night
They let us use the pool while we waited and kept our things. The room was gross. They literally left hair all over the sink. You can tell they don’t clean in detail. We did however have fun at their bar with karaoke. Friendly. Free shuttle ride to the airport.

Great Option Near HNL With Shuttle
I've stayed at the Pacific Marina Inn many time now. Probably dozens at this point as I often use HNL as a stopover on mew ay to Asia. I've ever written a review, but thought I should because they deserve the good marks. Being perfectly honest, this is not the nicest hotel you'll ever stay at, it's no four seasons, but you should know that going in already. That said, the staff has always been super friendly and helpful. Some of the nicest hotel staff I've ever dealt with and they even often remember me and ask about my travels. The rooms are clean, the AC's work well, they have a small store with essentials and there's a restaurant and bar on site. They're also pretty much the only hotel that offers a free 24 hour shuttle to and from the airport, which is worth a lot considering they're usually a good bit cheaper than the next option downtime street (The Best Western). I don't think I've ever had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for a pick up from the airport after calling. If you need a hotel close to the airport with a reliable shuttle, this is the place for you. It's a great, convenient, clean, affordable option. Many thanks to all the great Pacific Marian employees for always providing excellent service over the years!

Great Location
Staff were amazing. Location was central to where we needed to be. Bed was comfortable. It had everything we needed as we just needed a room for 2 nights as we were in town for my dad's funeral service.
