Close to Parque Cespedes and Parque Alameda and points of Historical interest in the city. In a district that also housed the children's hospital so I only experienced one short power outage during my 3 day stay. The owner went above and beyond with service: breakfast ($5), dinner ($7) and laundry (varies) with meal service on the rooftop terrace with wonderful views of the port and city. Served to order with drinks and music! All of that plus a no-charge dropoff at the bus terminal in his 1950 Chevrolet Deluxe at 6:30 in the morning. I highly recommend this place.

Las camas son incomodas, las sabanas sinteticas, la habitación oscura y muy pequeña. Nos intentaron cobrar de más con el viaje del aeropuerto a la casa... En general no transmite confianza, recomiendo buscar otras opciones. El desayuno es correcto, pero nada especial.

Después de un viaje de más de 18 horas en bus, no nos ofrecieron ni un vaso de agua o una taza de cafe. Desayunamos 2 veces en la casa, precio €5,0 por persona, el desayuno era bueno pero nada especial, fruta y huevos. La segunda noche le pregunté por un poco de agua. Nos "ofreció" una botella de agua. Aunque pagamos ya 20 euros por los desayunos, al salir nos cobraron 200 pesos extra por el agua.

Unfortunately, our time in Santiago of Cuba was very short (1 night). But we can say that we received a very warm welcome here. The host was super and made us sausages at night, as we unfortunately arrived very late and therefore could not buy anything to eat. Breakfast the next day was also very tasty. The room was nice but the highlight is the roof terrace. Here you have a great view over Santiago de Cuba. It is also a short walk to the central Parque Cespedes. We will be happy to come here again next time we are in Santiago.

Joel was outstanding! He went out of his way every day to make sure my wife and I were attended to. He really went above and beyond in my view. I can't recommend it highly enough. Anytime I go to Santiago I will stay there. Don't waste your time on a hotel. This is the way to go.

Great stay bon Santiago
Everything was great in this stay. Good welcome, great room and a good shower (since last stay in Trinidad was horrible on this topic), great rooftop terrace. The host was really helpful during our stay ! The location is also good and quiet.
