I paid for a room for my partner as he was in Glasgow on his work Xmas night out. He arrived home today and shared that he had a fabulous time and the hotel was great. Good location, very friendly staff and the bed was very comfortable. Very pleased

Lovely.
We did really enjoy our stay, the location was good for us as we were going to the Hydro. The food was also good. We used the pool and kinda thought there should be a child time as there was swimming classes on which meant we were confined to one area of the pool. The water was also quite cold and shallow. The pillows were strange in the sense of, one was too thin and fluffy and the other one was too thick and fluffy. We did also find some. hairs. around the bathroom and lashes beside the fridge. The staff were super friendly and we did genuinely enjoy our stay! Just a couple things but in the grand scheme, i would stay again.

When we checked in there was no mention of ongoing work within the hotel. One of the three lifts was out of service for the maintenance crew when checking in, when we checked out 2 days later there was 2 lifts being used for maintenance. Twenty minute wait is not what I expected & there was no way we could have went down the stairs with 2 cases & hand luggage from the 7th floor. We had booked a double room, you would expect a double bed, not 2 singles together with a mattress protector making up the double bed. Not what you expect from such a high standard hotel company. I’ve had better rooms with a much more comfortable bed from more budget friendly chains of hotels. I would definitely think twice about staying there again

Okay, could be better.
The hotel is okay. Could do with some modernisation. The shower was too short for my 6', and the bath took a year to fill. I had to ask for extra shower gel on the third day because it hadn't been refilled. The staff were nice, but forgot to tell me breakfast times and where to get it when I checked in. Also didn't realise you had to go outside the building to get into the leisure centre (or walk up a few flights of stairs the first floor internally). And there's not jacuzzi.
