Very centrall..2minute walk frim new street train station..right in the heart of new street..needs abit of up dating but staff great..no restaurant ir bar in it is only downfall..but plenty around outside.

This hotel is in the middle of Birmingham, within walking distance to the Bullring and New Street Station, so ideal for an overnight stay. I would recommend the Executive Rooms, whilst you pay a minimal amount more, they are of a much better quality than the other rooms. I had a slight issue on my last stay but the reception staff sorted it immediately.

Very basic and budget, it was what i needed it to be for 1 night. Hotel a little run down, walls a little dirty and it felt very inpersonal with the staff. Great location as it was opposite the train station. I was a solo femal traveller and felt safe. I wouldn't recommend staying here if your looking for a luxury stay or more then 1 night but if looking for a cheap night then this is the place.

Great location. No soundproofing, can hear full conversations through the wall. Mattresses quite worn down to springs so slept on top of the duvet. One lift out of two was out of service for all 4 days. Signs in hallways broken (eg 5th floor), some bits of litter around hotel and in lift. Bathroom smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. New bathrooms which were very good.

Booked this as a last minute option to get out of a terirble slum i booked near the gay district ("pleasant apartment"). Did the job, wasnt expensive for a booking made ten minutes before staying and very close to everything i needed including train station and bullring
