My time at the Extended Stay America in Huntsville, AL- US Space and Rocket Center was nothing less than a nightmare. It was my last resort due to high demand around the time that I visited. Went for a conference for work, and I stayed a total of three nights. As soon as I walked into my room, I was assaulted with the smell of strong cologne. I didn’t think anything of it, but it’s important to note for this review. I didn’t mind it because the room looked clean, bed was made, kitchen was clean, refrigerator was clean, although, the plate in the microwave was missing. Didn’t care too much about that, since I didn’t have food I needed to re-heat, so I didn’t say anything to the FD. Bring flip flops or sandals because the floor had not been mopped. It was swept, but I could tell it had not been mopped in a while. The soap in the bathroom must haven’t been as old as the building. When I tried washing my hands in the bathroom, it felt like hard plastic. I ran it under hot water to “activate it” which worked. Grab-and-go breakfast was sad, they have coffee, tea, instant grits and oatmeal. To be fair, I may have gone downstairs late and maybe they were out of the granola. Breakfast is between 6 am and 9 am, I went around 8 am. The furniture was in really bad shape and the drawers were dirty. The presence of shady individuals made me feel like I was in a seedy back alley and not a lodging establishment. On the second day I left to explore, I was gone for about two hours or so. When
