Would Stay Again Despite Charges
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Check-in was a breeze. Parking was abundant. The shuttle service and proximity to Universal Studios/ downtown area were easy to utilize. The only issue I had with the hotel was that I chose to pay at property upon check-in, however, the hotel charged me the night before my check-in date. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. I tried to resolve the issue with hotels.com, but because the hotel charged me they weren’t able to do anything. I reached out to the hotel about my frustrations and while they were validated, I was told all they could do was reverse the charge (which would take 3-5 business days to return the money), but then I would run the risk of losing the reservation which would put me in a completely different situation. I was told reservation charges the night before check-in was “normal”. I explained in my years of hotel reserving this was a first. Ultimately would stay here again, but be aware of the charge for the total amount of the reservation the night before check-in.
