Short weekend stay - was ok
The room itself was nice with a good quality bed, tv and good facilities however there was a terrible drain smell every time we entered the room.
I was disappointed not to have been given a glass in request from the bar as I was with my 12 year old daughter and so drinking in the bar was not appropriate on a Saturday night with so many adults wishing to enjoy a grown up evening.
We had a comfortable night sleep as the beds were very nice.
However, we wanted to enjoy the leisure facilities the next morning and they are looking incredibly tired and run down, some very poor attempt at covering exposed building work with white sheeting.
Not quite the whole experience you would expect with a Hilton.
However, staff were great in the main (except for the bar staff who told me they had “run out” of champagne flutes when I asked.
Location is very good indeed.
