I hope I have room to tell you about the "great time" we had at this hotel... On Dec. 18 we checked in and was given Room 1004. A very noisy room. But the bed had us moving to another room. There was a ridge/lump in the mattress, You could not sleep on it. Didn't house keeping notice when changing the bed? Went back to check-in and was given Room 913. This was a better room, except for the noise from the air handlers on the roof. There was no luggage rack, had to use chairs. Not enough plugs at the desk, had to go buy more. No paper towels in the bar, had to use towels from bath. No glasses in bathroom/bar area. Bar sink was plugged and would not drain. Toilet seat was not secure, moved all over the place. Didn't housekeeping notice these two things - made me wonder if they were even cleaned! Bedroom phone did not work. Slider did not lock. Shower curtain was torn at the rings and hung backward? Happy hour was OK. Geri was wonderful, we really enjoyed her sitting at the bar. Marcella, on the other hand, had a -0 personality. Did not care to engage any customers. She was slow making drinks and stopped the line frequently to go tell parents their kids had to leave. No signs about this and no one to replace food. Christmas Eve was a zoo. It was wrong not to have help that night. Breakfasts were great. Soda machine had no carbination for 2 days. 1 of the elevators broke mid week and was never fixed. Ice machine (next to our room) was broke all week.
