The building itself is charming, but it’s clear it could use some maintenance—a fresh coat of paint would do wonders.
Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations. At breakfast on the second day, I was informed that toast wasn’t an option because they’d run out of bread. Instead, I was given the "last croissant" as though it were a generous gesture.
For £94 per night, such oversights are unacceptable. If kitchen supplies run low, especially with a Tesco just across the road, it’s hard to excuse not restocking essentials like bread.
