A beautiful town surrounded by Mont Blanc, amazing views both day & nite. Plenty of outdoor activities. Lots of Paragliding, cool to see!! Lots of restaurants and shopping. Not as pricey as I expected. As a comparison Geneva is much more expensive

Chamonix is a beautiful, friendly little city with many good dining options. It is close to countless hiking experiences in France, Switzerland and Italy. The summer weather is usually very mild. The views are fantastic in all directions.

Great place for nature lovers and people who enjoy a view. The sheer quantity of skiers is a little frustrating and the prices are a bit over inflated. But an area that must be seen for its sheer majesty.

Chamonix is an amazing historic town say the foot of Mont Blanc. Home of the 1st winter Olympics sang the home of mountaineering. The commercial area is filled with shops and restaurants and most of it is a car free pedestrian only zone

Loved Chamonix! One of the prettiest towns on our trip. The gondola up to l'Aguille Midi was really cool - even if our view of Mt. Blanc was obscured by Snow.
"We stayed in room 306. There is a bus station right next to it, if you are staying in summer and crack windows for air (as there is no AC), it stays noisy till past midnight. There is a restaurant in the back (Le Privilege) they had loud live music till midnight. Overall we liked the hotel and stay again. "
"Unfortunately, i broke my ankle just before arriving here. The staff went out of their way to help me. It seems like i am in a beautiful location with trails right outside my window. It's ashame i can't walk, but i will be back!"
"Nice spa facilities, loved the hot chocolate coming from the coffee machine. Really wish it had AC as we had to leave the door open at night. Thankfully wasn’t noisy outside "
