Check-in was disturbing in that: 1) clerk had trouble finding my reservation; my impression was that he didn’t know how to use the computer system; 2) he told me breakfast would be available from 6-9 a.m., and told me where it would be served; 3) he walked me to nearby corridor, then told me my room was “down there”, pointing toward long corridor crammed with old, discarded furniture and floor devoid of flooring, but full of potholes——in the corridor!
To top it off, the room furniture was dirty——I didn’t feel I could touch anything. On the other hand, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Oh yes, in the morning there was NO breakfast available and, when I asked the desk clerk why not, he told me they had “run out of supplies”. This motel is under renovation, and should not be open to the public. It is unclean and unsafe. Fortunately, our reservation was for one night only.
