There was a slight confusion during checking in. Apparently my name did not show up in the system and I was asked by the receptionist, who happened to be very friendly, to wait until it showed up on the computer. After waiting for a few minutes I went back to him and asked him to type my name in, to his surprise my name showed up and it showed that I was already checked in. He wanted to make sure that there was no mistake so he went to check on the room and there was no sign of anyone in there. He came down and proceeded to give me my key to our room.
I had book us a room for 4 persons, which would indicate a double bed and two single beds, when we arrived there was only a double bed and a single bed. We didn’t feel like going back down to deal with that so we just made so what we had. In the middle of the night, a stranger (another guest) opened our door and we were very scared because we had locked the door. We were in shocked and that shook really shocked us.
The next morning we went down to get breakfast only to be told that we didn’t book for any breakfast, which I thought I had in my initial booking. I then told the receptionist about the incident that happened that night and she was aware of that and apologised. She even compensated us with a free breakfast and cold beverages afterwards.
Despite the stranger opening our door in the middle of the night I thought the hotel was good. It was clean, public transportation is nearby and the people are friendly.
